Ganpat University Concludes one week Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Emerging Perspectives on Curriculum Design, Delivery & Assessment (21–25 September 2026)🎓✨

A productive week concludes at Ganpat University as the Association Of Indian Universities (AIU) and Ganpat University Academic & Administrative Development Centre (GUNI-AADC) wrapped up the Faculty Development Program on Emerging Perspectives on Curriculum Design, Delivery & Assessment.
We are happy to wrap up the successful one week Faculty Development Program (FDP) on "Emerging Perspectives on Curriculum Design, Delivery & Assessment," organized by the AIU-Ganpat University Academic & Administrative Development Centre (AIU-GUNI AADC).

Over five intensive days (21–25 September 2026), faculty members engaged in practical workshops and thought-provoking discussions:

• Day 1: Outcome-Based Education (OBE) fundamentals, Bloom’s Taxonomy, and curriculum gap analysis.
• Day 2: Pedagogies for OBE, question paper design, rubrics, and peer auditing.
• Day 3: 21st-century teaching challenges, student-centric pedagogical techniques, and digital & AI tools.
• Day 4: AI tools for formative assessment, HOTS-based teaching-learning, and emotional intelligence.
• Day 5: Hands-on workshop on innovative pedagogies and implementation frameworks.

A heartfelt thank you to our distinguished resource persons, dedicated organizing committee, and enthusiastic faculty participants!

The true success of this program lies in bringing these modern methodologies from workshop discussions directly into our daily lecture halls and laboratories.

🎓 Day 05 | 1-Week Faculty Development Programme :
Emerging Perspectives on Curriculum Design, Delivery & Assessment.

The 5th and concluding day of the 1-Week Faculty Development Programme brought together an engaging and experiential learning journey focused on innovative pedagogy, active learning, and practical classroom transformation.

The day began with the “Paper Fold” opening experience, creating a powerful contrast between learning through instruction and learning through doing. The session then moved into “Framing — Not the Spotlight,” highlighting how stepping back from the centre of the classroom can enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.

Faculty members actively experienced a range of collaborative and learner-centred pedagogical approaches, including:
🔹 Fishbowl Discussion – Experiencing structured dialogue and reflective participation
🔹 Peer Teach-Back – Learning through paired teaching and knowledge sharing
🔹 Jigsaw Method – Exploring expert-group learning and collaborative teaching
🔹 World Café – Engaging in rotating-table discussions and collective idea generation
🔹 Toolkit Build – Developing a personal reference toolkit aligned with pedagogy, learning outcomes, and assessment approaches
🔹 Commitment & Close – Concluding the day with a commitment to implement a meaningful classroom action in the coming weeks

The sessions transformed pedagogical concepts into hands-on experiences, encouraging faculty members to reflect on their teaching practices and explore practical approaches for creating more engaging, participatory, and outcome-oriented learning environments.

💡 Azim Premji: The Tech Visionary Who Dreamed Beyond Limits.

The Faculty of Computer Application, Ganpat University organized an inspiring lecture under the प्रेरणापथ – Inspiring Life Journeys & Stories lecture series on September 18, 2026, at the Seminar Hall, SKPCPER, Ganpat University.

🎙️ Resource Person: Dr. R. Sridaran, Executive Dean, Faculty of Computer Applications & Academic Quality Assurance, Ganpat University.

The session explored the remarkable life journey of Azim Premji, a renowned Indian business leader, technology visionary, and philanthropist. The insightful lecture highlighted his transformational journey of building Wipro into a globally recognized technology enterprise through vision, adaptability, strategic thinking, innovation, and long-term commitment.

✨ The session emphasized several valuable lessons for students and young professionals:
🔹 Perseverance & Determination – Success requires the courage to face challenges and remain committed to long-term goals.

Day 02 of the 1-Week Faculty Development Programme focused on translating the principles of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) into practical curriculum design, pedagogy, and assessment practices.

The sessions, led by Dr. Rajendra Kumar V. Joshi, Adjunct Professor, Chanakya University, engaged faculty members in hands-on learning and collaborative academic activities.

🔹 Key Highlights of Day 02:
• Pedagogy for OBE – Exploring pedagogical approaches and redesigning a course unit for effective learning.
• Assessment: Why & How – Aligning assessment with learning levels and exploring multiple assessment methods.
• Question Papers & Rubrics – Reviewing questions in relation to COs and POs and developing four-level rubrics.
• Peer Audit of Work – Reviewing course work collaboratively and planning the way forward for other courses.

The workshop emphasised constructive alignment, practical application, curriculum enhancement, and outcome-oriented teaching-learning practices, enabling faculty to develop usable and replicable course materials.

Ganpat University, in collaboration with the Association Of Indian Universities (AIU) through the AIU–GUNI Academic & Administrative Development Centre (GUNI-AADC), inaugurated a 1-Week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Emerging Perspectives on Curriculum Design, Delivery & Assessment” being conducted from 21st to 25th September 2026.

The programme brings together academicians, educators, and academic leaders from diverse institutions to engage in meaningful discussions on contemporary approaches to curriculum development, innovative teaching-learning methodologies, and effective assessment practices. Designed to foster academic excellence and professional growth, the FDP serves as a platform for knowledge exchange, reflection, and collaborative learning in the rapidly evolving landscape of higher education.

The inaugural session commenced with a warm welcome by Prof.(Dr)Sridaran Rajagopal, who highlighted the importance of continuous faculty development and lifelong learning in strengthening educational quality and institutional excellence.

The programme was formally inaugurated by Dr. Mahendra Sharma, Hon. Group Pro-Chancellor & Joint President, Ganpat University, who shared valuable insights on the changing dynamics of higher education and emphasized the significance of curriculum innovation, effective delivery mechanisms, and meaningful assessment in shaping future-ready graduates.

The session was further enriched by a special address from Dr. Rajendra Kumar Joshi, Adjunct Professor, Chanakya University, who offered thought-provoking perspectives on emerging educational practices and the evolving role of faculty members in creating impactful learning experiences.

Adding to the significance of the event, Mrs. Ranjana Parihar, Joint Secretary, AADC (AIU), joined the programme online and conveyed AIU’s vision for academic and professional development through collaborative initiatives between higher education institutions.

The inaugural ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Kiran Amin who expressed gratitude to the distinguished speakers, organizers, and participants for their valuable contributions and support.

The Chief Guest, Ms. Dhvani Joshi Pandya, Founder, CORE: Designing Happiness, was formally welcomed with the University Stole and Statement of Gratitude by Dr. Sridaran Rajagopal, Executive Dean, FCA & Academic Quality Assurance, Ganpat University; Dr. Nirbhay Chaubey, Dean, FCA, Ganpat University; Dr. Ketan Patel, UG Programme Coordinator; and Dr. Asha Patel.
