KUTTOM YOUTH LAUNCH COMMUNITY-OWNED CAR WASH ON KHARSANG–JAGUN HIGHWAY

In a move towards self-reliance and entrepreneurship, the youth of Kuttom village have jointly launched a commercial car wash along the Kharsang–Jagun Highway. The facility is located near the Bajaj Bike Dealer, Kharsang, offering a new livelihood opportunity instead of relying on outside support.
The initiative is believed to be the first collectively owned and managed commercial venture by Tangsa youth from Kuttom village. While the business focuses on vehicle washing, the organisers describe it as a pioneering step towards promoting local employment and encouraging youth-led entrepreneurship.
The car wash offers quick service, affordable rates, and quality care for every vehicle. The venture has been established with the vision of creating employment opportunities for unemployed youth while providing reliable and efficient service to commuters and vehicle owners.
