Assembly Presented by Classes 1A and 1B

The students of Classes 1A and 1B presented a thoughtful and inspiring assembly based on the themes “What Goes Around Comes Around” and “Humanity Beyond Relationships.”

Through meaningful presentations, the young learners beautifully conveyed the importance of kindness, good deeds, compassion, and humanity. The assembly reminded everyone that our actions always come back to us and that the bond of humanity goes beyond all relationships.

An insightful awareness session on Cybersecurity, Social Media Awareness and Mental Well-being was organised by the Police Department at Delhi Public School, Durg on 21st August 2026.

Students were sensitised about road safety, cyber threats, online frauds, responsible social media use, and mental well-being, encouraging them to be alert, informed and responsible both online and offline.

A meaningful step towards nurturing aware, responsible and safety-conscious citizens! ✨

An Inter-House English Story Narration Contest was organised by Nilgiri House for students of Classes I to V.
The contest for Classes I and II was held on 19th August, while Classes III to V participated on 20th August.
For Classes I and II, the theme was “Stories Based on Moral Values,” while the theme for Classes III to V was “Folk Tales of India.”
The young storytellers presented their stories with confidence, creativity, expression, and enthusiasm.
The occasion was graced by the Director, who encouraged the participants and appreciated their efforts. The contest provided a wonderful platform for students to enhance their language skills, confidence, creativity, and public speaking abilities.
The event concluded with appreciation for all the participants and teachers for their valuable support in making the contest a success.

DPS, Durg celebrated 80th Independence Day on 15th August 2026 with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.

The programme began with Flag Hoisting by the Director followed by the National Anthem and the National Song. The special assembly presented by students included a meaningful Thought, speeches in Hindi and English,by the Head Girl and Head Boy, respectively highlighting the importance of freedom, patriotism and unity.

The Cultural Programme comprised an effective Nukkad Natak, a Group Song, and a Hindi Poem Recitation, an Orchestra and an inspiring Dance Drama.

This entailed the Senior Master Sir’s address, wherein he shared valuable thoughts and encouraged the students to become responsible and honest citizens.

The athletes of Delhi Public School Durg have made the school proud with an outstanding performance at the CBSE Cluster-II Athletics Meet 2026, held at KIIT International School, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, from 29th July to 1st August 2026.

Competing among nearly 1,600 student-athletes from 250 schools, Team DPS Durg showcased exceptional talent, determination and sporting spirit, bringing home an impressive 14 medals, 01 Gold, 08 Silver & 05 Bronze, along with the Cluster-II First Runners-Up Trophy! 🏆

Five of our young athletes, Nitin Kumar Deshmukh, Prithvi Raj Singh Gill, Ridhima Singhal, Arni Akshara and Anusha Singh, have been selected to represent DPS Durg at the CBSE National Athletic Meet 2026, to be held at SD Public School, Patiala, Punjab, from 15th to 20th October 2026.
