IISE Social Outreach Program was conducted by IISE Student Chapter IIT Kharagpur #660 & Industrial and Systems Engineering, IIT Kharagpur on 30th March 2021. Our Vice President Mr. Satchidananda Tripathy visited Govt Nodal High School Gaisilet, Bargarh, Orissa, India to encourage students about technical education and promote IISE Chapter social work. He also offered token of love to the students and school administration. We are thankful to school administration for their kind permission & cooperation.

IISE Student Chapter IIT Kharagpur #660 & Industrial and Systems Engineering, IIT Kharagpur were honored to have Dr. K Ganesh Senior Knowledge Expert McKinsey Knowledge Center (McKC), McKinsey & Company, Inc. with us to deliver a webinar on Post COVID- Do we need new normal in Supply Chain? Winning Strategies in ASIA on 7th May 2021.
His insight on post COVID supply chain was remarkable. He shared his necessary insights on 3-objectives in supply chain business, digitalization & analytics in emerging core business.
Thank you Dr. K Ganesh for such an informative and interactive session.

A one-day workshop will be jointly organized by E-Business Centre of Excellence and IISE Student Chapter IIT Kharagpur ( #660), on July 27, 2019. The workshop will be on "Blockchain application using Hyperledger Fabric." Participants from all the departments of IIT Kharagpur are welcome to join the workshop. Registration will be provided on First Come First Serve basis as the seats are limited to 30 only. On April 10, 2019, Our student chapter has visited Kharagpur based Tata Hitachi plant with undergraduate students of Industrial and Systems Engineering, IIT Kharagpur. It has explored the practical knowledge and picture in the mind of these young Engineers related to the assembly line and several other similar operations during a final assembly. Thanks, Dr. Goutam Sen, Bibekananda Mishra, J. Rambabu, and Souvik Das for making it a successful event. Thanks, Tata Hitachi for providing such a wonderful experience.

On January 20, 2019, IISE Student Chapter IIT Kharagpur visited Gopali Ashram located near to Kharagpur. Gapali Ashram is known for a school cm shelter provides free lodging & Boarding for the economically weaker section from SC/ST and orphan boys. Our chapter has provided the painting kit where all the children have participated and developed nice arts. Approximately two and half hours have been spent with these boys to play, to motivate and to provide an open environment.

In the recent, IISE Student Chapter #660 has participated in Largest Tech Fests of Asia, Ksh*tij 2019 at IIT Kharagpur, India, held during January 18-20, 2019. At this event, interaction with students and participation have been carried out along with and pamphlet distributions for promoting the IISE Society’s publications, magazines, awards, and various activities.
