Celebrating the Auspicious Spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi 🙏

On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, a special assembly was organised at school to pay obeisance to Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the epitome of wisdom, prosperity and new beginnings.

The assembly commenced with a sacred Ganesh Puja, followed by an insightful narration on the significance and importance of the festival. Students were sensitised to the values and traditions associated with Ganesh Chaturthi, making the celebration both meaningful and spiritually enriching.

The divine atmosphere of prayers and devotion filled the school with positivity and joy, reminding us to seek wisdom, embrace goodness and begin every new endeavour with faith and determination.

Celebrating the Spirit of Our Teachers!

A special assembly was organised at Skonis World School to commemorate Teachers’ Day, filled with laughter, gratitude and heartfelt appreciation for our wonderful educators.

Adding a delightful twist, students from the senior classes came dressed as their favourite teachers, bringing the school corridors and stage alive with their adorable and entertaining portrayals. The assembly featured energetic dance performances, engaging enactments and fun-filled activities that beautifully captured the joys and challenges of a teacher’s life.

Through their performances, our Skonians depicted how demanding yet rewarding the teaching profession can be, giving everyone a glimpse into the dedication, patience and countless responsibilities that teachers embrace every day.

Celebrating the Teachers Who Make a Difference! 🌸

To commemorate Teachers’ Day, the management of Skonis World School treated our teachers to a wonderful day at Chowki Dhani, Panchkula—a perfect blend of fun, laughter, togetherness and unforgettable memories.

From lively activities and energetic dance sessions to delicious food and cheerful conversations, every moment was filled with joy. It was a refreshing break from our everyday routines and a beautiful opportunity for our teachers to unwind, bond and simply enjoy each other’s company.

Partnering for Progress, Achieving Excellence!

A Special Parent-Teacher Meeting was organised for the parents of Grade 10 to discuss students’ academic performance, identify areas of improvement, and share the various measures being undertaken by the school to further strengthen their results.

A good number of parents participated enthusiastically, engaging in meaningful discussions with our respected Principal, Mrs. Seema Wadhwa. The session highlighted the importance of a strong school-parent partnership, as consistent guidance and parental involvement play a crucial role in helping students realise their full potential.

Adding another feather to their cap, all seven athletes have been selected to represent at the State Level, making this achievement even more special and bringing immense pride to the entire Skonis family.

Janmashtami was marked with great fervour, joy and devotion at Skonis World School!

Our adorable kindergarteners came dressed as little Radhas and Krishnas, filling the campus with innocence, smiles and divine charm. From the auspicious lighting of the diya to the much-awaited Dahi Handi, every moment was filled with excitement, laughter and togetherness.

The festivities beautifully brought alive the playful spirit of Lord Krishna’s childhood and gave our little learners an opportunity to connect with our rich cultural heritage and traditions.
