Pyjamas, Pillows & Plenty of Smiles! ✨

Our little kindergarten stars had an unforgettable time at the Slumber Party organized at school! Dressed in their colorful pyjamas, carrying their favorite snacks, and filled with excitement, the children enjoyed a day full of fun, laughter, storytelling, games, and bonding with friends.

Such joyful experiential activities are encouraged in line with the CBSE’s vision of holistic development, which emphasizes learning beyond textbooks. Events like these help children build confidence, social skills, emotional well-being, creativity, and a sense of belonging in a safe and nurturing environment.

From sharing snacks to creating wonderful memories together, every moment was filled with happiness and learning. Seeing our tiny tots laugh, interact, and enjoy themselves made the event truly special.

Skonis World School successfully conducted a CBP session on 30th May on the topic “Promoting Mental Health and Wellbeing Among Students.”

The enlightening session was conducted by the esteemed Resource Persons, Dr. Rupinder Brar and Mrs. Subeena Anand, who shared valuable insights on nurturing students’ emotional wellbeing and creating a positive learning environment.

Participants from various schools attended the session and appreciated the informative and interactive discussions. The workshop was exceptionally well-organized and proved to be highly enriching for all the attendees.

The Investiture Ceremony at Skonis World School was conducted with great pride and dignity, marking a significant milestone for our newly elected Student Council. The last week before summer break at Skonis World School was truly engaging, enriching, and full of vibrant learning experiences!

Our Grade 6 & 7 students explored the world of greenery and sustainability through an educational visit to a Plant Nursery under Kaushal Bodh, gaining hands-on exposure and environmental awareness.

The excitement continued with various monthly competitions for Kindergarten students, where young learners enthusiastically showcased their creativity, confidence, and talents.

Adding to the pride, our students also participated in the Quiz Competition at Tagore Theatre, reflecting knowledge, teamwork, and a competitive spirit.

To make the week even more meaningful, an insightful session on AI & Robotics was organized for teachers, equipping educators with innovative tools and futuristic perspectives in education.

It was indeed a week filled with exploration, participation, innovation, and joyful learning — a wonderful way to conclude this phase of the academic session before welcoming the summer break!

The tiny tots came beautifully dressed in yellow attire and enthusiastically brought delicious yellow-coloured food items, making the day vibrant and joyful. Through fun-filled activities, children explored the significance of the colour yellow — a symbol of happiness, positivity, energy, and freshness.

Such celebrations play an important role in early childhood learning as they help children identify colours, enhance sensory development, build confidence, and encourage social interaction in a joyful environment.
