Students of Classes 4 & 5 Dedicate Heartfelt Poems to Mothers at The Holy Wonders Smart School.
In a touching tribute to their mothers , students of Classes 4 and 5 at The Holy Wonders Smart School, Kharar participated in a Poetry Recitation Competition dedicated to mothers.

Held in the school auditorium, the event saw young orators recite poems in English .
With expressive voices, graceful gestures, and heartfelt emotions, students brought alive the love, sacrifice, and strength of mothers.
They left the audience overwhelmed with their beautiful heart rending recitations.

Judges appreciated the confidence, diction, and emotional connect of all participants. Winners were awarded a certificate of appreciation.

Principal Mrs.Harpreet Kaur said, “Poetry helps children articulate feelings. Today, each child spoke from the heart. This was not a competition, but a celebration of the mother-child bond.”

Director Mrs.Ashween Arora added, “We want our students to value relationships as much as results. Watching them honor their mothers through words was truly special. Thank you to all parents for nurturing such thoughtful children.”

Mothers Take Center Stage at The Holy Wonders Smart School’s Heartwarming Mother’s Day Celebration

Kharar, 9th May 2026: The Holy Wonders Smart School campus was filled with laughter, love, and applause today as mothers of pre primary classes became the stars of the school’s Mother’s Day Celebration-2026.

The auditorium came alive with a vibrant Ramp Walk by mothers, where they walked with grace and confidence in colorful attire, cheered on by their proud children. The energy peaked during the Dance Competition, as mothers set the stage on fire with solo and duo performances to foot-tapping numbers. From Bollywood hits to folk tunes, every performance celebrated the spirit of motherhood.

Adding to the excitement were fun games and activities exclusively for mothers . The audience erupted in cheers as mothers let go of all inhibitions and participated wholeheartedly.

The little students of LKG & UKG melted hearts with their special performances – action songs, and dance presentations dedicated to “Maa”.

Winners were felicitated with prizes- badges , sashes and gifts for Best Ramp Walk, Best Dance Performance, and Game Champions. Every participating mother received a token of appreciation from the school.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Mrs. Harpreet Kaur said, “A mother is a child’s first teacher and forever friend. Today, we wanted mothers to feel celebrated, honoured ,and pampered. Their smiles are our biggest reward.”

Director Mrs. Ashween Arora in her thanksgiving speech, added, “Behind every confident child is a mother who believed first. Thank you for trusting us with your children and for being the heart of this school community. Today was for you.”
Such celebrations help children develop gratitude, strengthen family bonds through school-community engagement, and foster emotional growth through creative performances and handmade gifts

The celebration concluded with refreshments, leaving everyone with memories to cherish.

Students of The Holy Wonders Smart School spread Love Ahead of Mother’s Day with Post Office Visit

Kharar, 30th April 2026: The tiny tots of UKG from The Holy Wonders Smart School, Kharar turned into little messengers of love today as they visited the Post Office, Sunny Enclave to post handmade Mother’s Day cards.

Ahead of Mother’s Day on 10th May, the students crafted beautiful, colorful cards expressing their love and gratitude for their mothers. The visit was organized to help children understand the importance of postal services and experience the joy of sending heartfelt messages through traditional post.

Dressed in neat school uniforms and brimming with excitement, the children lined up patiently to drop their cards in the red letter box. Post Office officials warmly welcomed the students, explained how letters are sorted and delivered, and stamped the cards in front of them. The wide-eyed wonder on the children’s faces was a sight to behold.

Principal Mrs.Harpreet Kaur said, “We want children to feel the magic of handwritten letter. Today , they learned, loved and shared happiness.”

Speaking on the occasion, Director Mrs. Ashween Arora, said, “In today’s digital age, we want our children to experience the charm of handwritten letters. This activity not only taught them about our postal system but also helped them express love and gratitude. Seeing them proudly post cards for their mothers was truly heartwarming.”

Director Mr.Parveen Sabharwal appreciated the efforts of the entire team for successfully conducting the visit to post office.

The teachers explained to students how a simple card travels from one city to another to reach loved ones. The visit concluded with the children thanking the Post Office staff with a beautiful “Thank You card“ and promising to write more letters.

The initiative was appreciated by parents also who will receive these surprise cards in the coming days, just in time for Mother’s Day.

The Holy Wonders Smart School celebrated Earth week celebration with a series of impactful and educational activities aimed at raising awareness and sensitising the students about the need to save our Mother Earth and about environmental conservation and sustainability. This year’s theme, “Our Power, Our Planet,” reminds us that each one of us has the power to create positive change for the Earth.

All this celebration culminated on 22nd April,2026 on World Earth Day that began with
-*A special Assembly -
a special assembly was conducted whereby students showcased their creativity through speeches, and a play highlighting the significance of Earth Day .

-*Environmental Quiz
An environmental quiz on Earth Day was conducted in which students participated enthusiastically.

- *Tree Plantation Drive*:
The little Holy wonderites took the lead in a tree-planting initiative symbolizing their commitment to preserving the environment for future generations.

Throughout the day, students were engaged in various eco-friendly activities.

- *Art integration *: Students were assigned activities related to earth day with the theme
“Our environment and Nature” like
Book mark making for classses 1&2,
badge making for classes 3&4, Poster making for classes 5&6 , slogan writing for classes 7&8.

Principal Ms.Harpreet Kaur appreciated the participants for their amazing art work and presentations.

Director Mrs. Ashween Arora appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers and told them "The Earth Day is not just a celebration of one day but a routine to be adopted as sustainable practices in their daily lives and also gave many tips to be practised every day and thus contribute to national and global change envisaged as Green Earth.

Director Parveen Sabharwal highlighted that The Earth Day celebration not only promoted environmental awareness but also encouraged students to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives.

The vibrant festival of Baisakhi was celebrated on 13th April,2026 to imbibe in our children the values and ethos of the culture and community and to make them aware of the spring harvest festival in all its essence. Well-planned activities to acquaint the students with this harvest festival were conducted at all levels. The activities were consciously designed to nurture the students’ curiosity about Baisakhi and stimulate their creative skills in gaiety. The school premises wore a festive look with the campus decorated with items depicting the heritage of Punjab.
The students were welcomed with the beats of dhol, which brought vibrancy to the environment. The students of Pre primary and classes 1 and 2 came dressed up in traditional Punjabi attire to mark the joyous occasion .
The little Holy wonderites of kindergarten enacting the traditional household activities of rural Punjab added to the feel and vibrancy of the festive occasion.

Students of classes I and II were taken for a visit to the fields to help them experience the very essence of the harvest festival of Punjab.
They were told about the various aspects of this harvest festival and together with their teachers, they matched steps to the beats of Bhangra.

A special Assembly was held for Students of classes III – VIII whereby they were told about the significance of Baisakhi and highlighting the establishment of Khalsa Panth in Punjab. Students presented impressive speeches highlighting the significance of Baisakhi and the various ways by which people celebrate this great harvesting festival all over India.
This was followed by a quiz on Baisakhi.

The whole campus was abuzz with Vibrant Baisakhi vibes beautifully capturing the essence of rural life and farming traditions.
These activities not only encouraged creativity but also helped the young children understand the meaning behind the celebration in a fun and engaging way.

Director Mrs.Ashween Arora congratulated and applauded the students and teachers for their enthusiastic participation. She praised the vibrant cultural performances and the creativity shown in the craft activities and thematic presentations.
Principal Mrs.Harpreet Kaur applauded the spirit of celebration and encouraged the students to take pride in their cultural roots and continue to value India’s rich traditions.
Directors Mr. Parveen Sabharwal and Mr.Naveen Sabharwal extend heartfelt Baisakhi wishes to all.
The event was not just a celebration but a meaningful educational experience that fostered awareness, appreciation and joy among the students. It beautifully captured the essence of Baisakhi – a festival of gratitude, unity, and pride in one’s heritage.
