National Students' Space Challenge The Official page of India's largest space technology fest, IIT Kharagpur's National Students' Space Challenge in association with ISRO.

Going by the name of the Space Technology Students’ Society (spAts), this student body is the functional unit of Kalpana Chawla Space Technology Cell (KCSTC), which is the contact point of ISRO at IIT Kharagpur. This student group has conceived and bred the only fest in India that is solely dedicated to space technology, National Students’ Space Challenge (NSSC). NSSC saw the light of day in 2011

when it saw a prolific response from all over India in its very first year. This year NSSC plans to widen its reach even further.

We are thrilled to announce the governing batch for the National Students Space Challenge 2026-27.
It has been an honor leading this Fest and we now proudly hand over the reins to a team we know will drive NSSC forward with unwavering purpose and excellence.
