Mr. Ramakrishnan Kappagantu is the current Chairperson of Nomination and Awards Committee Region 10; started his journey with IEEE over two and a half decades ago as an active volunteer for the Bangalore Section in 1991 and became Chair of the Membership Development cell in 1998.

He became the India Council Secretary and Treasurer in 2009, was chosen as the Director-Elect, Vitality Coordinator and Chair AIyeHum of Region 10 for the year 2013-14. He was also Member Steering Committee SG4P under new IEEE new Initiatives and Member IEEE MGA MBPAC in 2014.

Mr. Kappagantu became IEEE R10 Director in 2015.
