The Department of Architecture and Regional Planning proudly congratulates Aditi Gupta for presenting her research at the 17th World Conference on Transport Research (WCTR 2026), held from 6th to 10th July 2026 at Toulouse Capitole University, Toulouse, France.

Her paper, “A Digital Twin Simulation Framework for Urban Transit: Validating Full-Day Frequency Optimization and Fleet Efficiency,” presents an innovative digital twin-based approach to urban transit simulation, with a focus on optimizing service frequency throughout the day and improving fleet efficiency.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Debapratim Pandit for his valuable guidance, mentorship, and continued support throughout this research journey.

The Department of Architecture and Regional Planning is delighted to congratulate Debarati Ghosh on presenting her research at the World Conference on Transport Research (WCTR) 2026, held in Toulouse, France, from 6th to 10th July 2026.

Her research, titled “Assessment of Transit Oriented Development Potential and Priority Areas along the East-West Metro Corridor in Kolkata Using AHP-SMCA,” focuses on assessing the potential for Transit-Oriented Development along Kolkata’s East-West Metro Corridor and identifying key priority areas through an integrated spatial analysis approach.

Her presentation, “LSTM-based Data-Adaptive, Multi-Model Hierarchical Protocol for Automated Bus Transit Demand Forecasting: Bridging Short-Term and Long-Term Prediction Systems,” explores an innovative approach to improving bus transit demand forecasting by integrating short-term and long-term prediction systems through a data-adaptive, multi-model framework.
