The intra-departmental cricket tournament organized by the Earth Science Study Circle (ESSC), Department of Geology and Geophysics, from 26 February to 1 March concluded with remarkable enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and unity. Congratulations to the MSc Geology team for clinching the championship title for the third consecutive year, showcasing outstanding consistency and teamwork. Applause is also due to the MSc Geophysics team, who secured the 1st runner-up position with an impressive performance, and to the Research Scholar team and Faculty + Staff team, who jointly earned the 2nd runner-up spot, reflecting the inclusive spirit of the event. Overall, the tournament not only celebrated athletic excellence but also strengthened camaraderie across all wings of the department.

Day 1 of the exciting Badminton Tournament organised by, Earth Science Study Circle, Department of Geology and Geophysics, IIT Kharagpur. This tournament bringing together students, scholars, and faculty for a day filled with energy, teamwork, and sporting spirit. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation. Stay tuned for more updates. Day 2 begins from 10 am tomorrow at Badminton court of Technology Students Gymkhana, IIT Kharagpur.
