A Happy Teachers’ Day to the guiding lights who shape our paths, challenge our limits, and fuel our ambition.

Behind every stride, every breakthrough, and every milestone achieved, lies the unwavering dedication of the mentors who guide us. Teachers do far more than deliver lectures, they ignite curiosity, instill resilience, and challenge us to push beyond our perceived limits.

Today, LLR Hall stands in gratitude to every teacher, professor, and mentor who has shaped our journey. Thank you for your patience, your passion, and your tireless commitment to lighting the way forward.

Janmashtami 2026 at Lala Lajpat Rai Hall of Residence, IIT Kharagpur!

A celebration filled with devotion, energy, and a whole lot of masti!

Our sophomores brought the festive spirit alive through the Matki Phod, battled it out in an intense Tug of War, took on the court in Kabaddi, and turned up the energy with a roaring Tempo Shout!

From breaking the matki to holding the line together, every event was a testament to their teamwork, spirit, and camaraderie.

A day of laughter, competition, and memories that will last long after the celebrations are over!

LLR KA TEMPO HIGH HAI!

Dear Lajpatians,

We are very grateful for the previous round of donations raised for Prakash Da for his Re**al Cancer Treatment and are pleased to announce that the first 8 rounds of chemotherapy have made a significant positive impact on his health. The doctors have shared with us that his health is improving and have recommended 4 more rounds of chemotherapy along with a follow-up treatment at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. We have done all we can to collect the total amount required for the treatment but Rs. 240000 more is required to pay for all the medical expenses. As the amount required is huge, we request you to kindly contribute towards Prakash da’s treatment and help him during this time

Dear Lajpatians,

I hope you are doing well. I’m reaching out with a heartfelt request from LLR Hall.

Prakash Chakraborty (Prakash Da), a long-time worker of LLR Hall, is currently battling a critical illness and urgently needs financial support for his treatment. Many of you may not have met him personally, but people like him are the silent pillars of our halls—supporting generations of students every single day.

Today, he needs us.

We have started a fundraiser on Ketto to ensure transparency and proper tracking of funds. The need for funds is immediate.

We have always stood together as a community this is one moment where we can truly make a difference in someone’s life.
