We are happy to announce the upcoming Short Term Course on "Introduction to Industrial Internet of Things and Industry 4.0" to be hosted by Centre of Excellence in Advanced Manufacturing Technology (CoEAMT), IIT Kharagpur (www.coeamt.com) from April 15-17, 2024.
The course is designed to cover essential topics, including, but not limited to:
- IIoT sensing and actuation
- Data analytics in IIoT
- Cloud in IIoT
- Evolution of manufacturing and Industry 4.0
- Digital twin.
This course is open to students, faculty members, as well as industry professionals.

CoEAMT has successfully conducted Hands-on training programme on CNC 6-times in the recent past, and received tremendous appreciation. Due to the high demand for this training from ITI/Diploma/UG students and industries, we are once again offering the 5-days hands on training on CNC from 01st May 2023 to 05th May 2023. The details are provided in the below mentioned link.

Centre of Excellence in Advanced Manufacturing Technology (CoEAMT) has been successfully organized COMPOSITE 4.0 - PRESENT AND FUTURE 4-Days short-term course in IIT Kharagpur dated 01 Dec- 04 Dec 2022.
Composite experts from different academic universities and industries have delivered lectures in their expertise areas. we are highly obliged to listen to renowned speakers such as Prof. S Advani from the University of Delaware, USA; Prof. Prasad Potluri from the University of Manchester; Dr. M K Sinha Ministry of Textiles, NTTM; Mr. Sajal Ghosh from TATA Auto Composites; Mr. Rajesh Aithal from LM Wind Power; Dr. Debashsi Bhattacharjee and Mr. Kingshuk Podder from TATA New Materials Business.
Scholars and Researchers from various universities and organizations such as IIT Jammu, IIT Roper, HICET, SAC ISRO, SRM Institute, KIIT, IIT ISM Dhanbad, LM Wind Power, TATA Steel, and KETEX Pvt Ltd. have participated in this course and enriched their knowledge about the current scenario of composites industries across the globe.

Greetings from the Centre of Excellence in Advanced Manufacturing Technology (CoEAMT) IIT Kharagpur.

It is our pleasure to inform you all that CoEAMT will organise a short-term course on "Composite 4.0: Present and Future" from December 01 to December 04, 2022, under the aegis of "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav".

We are glad to see the success of our previously conducted workshop / short-term courses / hands-on training on various topics such as Metallography, CNC, Machine vision in Robotics for Manufacturing, and 5G & Beyond in Manufacturing. Composite 4.0 was another successful program conducted by CoEAMT in 2019, in association with other renowned industries (Airbus, Tata Auto Composite) and institutes (University of New South Wales, University of Ruhuna & Composites World ). The course became popular amongst the participants and received appreciation from students and industry professionals.

This upcoming Composite 4.0 course will cover various aspects of composite processing technologies, such as fabrication and curing methods, quality inspections & control, defect identification, current market and technological scenario, and industrial applications.

Centre of Excellence in Advanced Manufacturing Technology (CoEAMT) has been successfully exhibited one stall during the Industry 4.0 conference held in Kevadiya, Gujarat on 07th October 2022.

Thank you so much for visiting us at our CoEAMT, IIT Kharagpur stall in the conference on Industry 4.0. During the conference, we were pleased to introduce our centre's activities on Industry 4.0 to many industries and academician with posters and videos.

Our CoEAMT is in the process of creating a sustainable ecosystem amongst Government, Industry Partners including public and private sectors, Start-ups, and Academia.

The CoEAMT is an industry-focused research centre which has been established with the support of the Department of Heavy Industry, GoI, and a consortium of industry partners. Our partners include Tata Motors, Tata Steel, Tata Sons, TCS, BHEL, and HEC Ranchi. As a support to industrial activities in advanced manufacturing, the CoEAMT is equipped with state-of-the-art, industrial-scale, and Industry 4.0 infrastructure. One of the four research thematic areas of our centre is Digital Manufacturing and Industrial Internet of Things, which involves application of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to manufacturing.

We request you disseminating this information amongst your team to pose new research problems to us. We will be delighted to work collaboratively with your research group/industry in various fields of advanced manufacturing.
