🎓 A Moment of Pride & Recognition! ✨

We are delighted to share that Dr. Neena Seth Pajni, Principal, Gobindgarh Public College, Alour, was invited as a Resource Person to deliver an invited lecture during the Two-Week Capacity Building Refresher Course on the theme “Ethical Issues and Skill Enhancement in the Higher Education System.”

The programme was organised by the Central University of Punjab in collaboration with Government Rajindra College, Bathinda.

Dr. Pajni’s insightful contribution to the academic programme was further honoured with an Appreciation Award by the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre, Central University of Punjab, in recognition of her valuable contribution as a Resource Person.

🤝 Gobindgarh Public College Observes Sadbhavana Diwas 🌿

Gobindgarh Public College, Alour, observed Sadbhavana Diwas with a meaningful programme aimed at promoting the values of peace, harmony, unity, mutual respect, and brotherhood among students.

On this occasion, the college community came together to reflect upon the importance of maintaining harmony and strengthening the spirit of togetherness in society.

The programme was led by the college’s respected Principal, Dr. Neena Seth Pajni, along with Associate Professor Dr. Manmohit Singh, who addressed the students and encouraged them to uphold the values of peace, tolerance, and communal harmony.

🚀 Gobindgarh Public College Partners with Shri Vallabh Seva Samiti for Inter-School Hackathon 2026! 💻🏆

Gobindgarh Public College (GPC), Alour, has joined hands with Shri Vallabh Seva Samiti for the upcoming Inter-School Hackathon 2026, scheduled to be held on 16 November 2026.

The collaboration aims to create an engaging and competitive platform for school students to showcase and strengthen their programming skills, logical reasoning, creativity, innovation, and practical problem-solving abilities.

Through this initiative, students from different schools will get an opportunity to participate in meaningful challenges, explore technology, work on innovative ideas, and develop solutions in a healthy and educational competitive environment.

As an infrastructure and academic partner, Gobindgarh Public College will extend its computer laboratory facilities, faculty support, and expert guidance for the event. Shri Vallabh Seva Samiti, as the principal organising partner, will coordinate the registration process, school participation, refreshments, prizes, prize money, and expert support.

The Hackathon is envisioned as a platform where young minds can move beyond conventional learning and experience the power of technology, creativity, collaboration, and innovation.

All Clash / Left-out / Medical / Sports / NCC / NSS papers scheduled for 21 August 2026 (Friday) have been postponed in view of the call for “Punjab Bandh” to avoid inconvenience to students.

Students are advised to take note of the revised schedule and plan accordingly.

A Week of Celebrations, Achievements & New Beginnings at Gobindgarh Public College! ✨

Gobindgarh Public College marked the beginning of the new academic session with a traditional Havan Yajna, seeking blessings for a successful and prosperous year ahead. The college also celebrated Independence Day with patriotic spirit through a range of engaging activities, including poster making, debates, creative writing and poetry.

The week also celebrated the achievements of our 23 NCC Cadets, who were honoured for their dedication, discipline and outstanding contribution. Adding to the spirit of talent and creativity, a vibrant Talent Hunt Competition was organised, providing students with a platform to showcase their diverse skills.
