Swami Chhagan Lal Lala Hans Raj Jain Public Senior Secondary School, Khanna celebrated *"Teej Ki Bahaar"* with great pomp and show.

The entire campus was adorned to reflect *pure Punjabi traditional culture*. A special culture corner displaying *antique articles* became the highlight of the event.

*Key Highlights:*
1. *Food Stalls*: Different food stalls were installed for students and parents, serving traditional delicacies.
2. *Selfie Corner*: A beautifully decorated special selfie corner was the centre of attraction.
3. *Open Fest*: The fest was open for all ladies and witnessed enthusiastic participation.
4. *Lucky Draw*: An exciting lucky draw was organized in which *Fifteen prizes* were allotted to parents or students.

The event was graced by *Ms. Swati Tiwana, PCS, SDM Khanna* as the *Guest of Honour* and *Ms. Upma Arora, MC Khanna* as the *Special Guest*.

*Mr. Rakesh Bansal, Mr. Dhaninder Jain and Mr. Ramneek Jain*, Executive Members of JPS Body, honoured the guests with a warm welcome.

*Ms. Meenakshi Phull, Principal*, felicitated all the ladies and expressed that such festivals bind us to the roots of our tradition. She thanked all parents for their kind cooperation and said the school always appreciates such cultural celebrations.

The fest of Teej left everyone with *unforgettable memories* and a true feel of Punjabi heritage.

Independence Day Celebration at JPS Khanna

Swami Chhagan Lal Lala Hans Raj Jain Public Senior Secondary School, Amloh Road, Khanna, celebrated Independence Day, our National Festival, with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour.

The students participated enthusiastically in a Patriotic Song Competition and various other activities based on the theme of Independence Day. The school premises echoed with the spirit of patriotism as students showcased their creativity, talent and love for the nation through engaging hands-on activities.

Their enthusiasm and zeal spoke louder than words, making the celebration truly memorable and inspiring.

*Investiture Ceremony 2026-27 | JPS Khanna*

The *Investiture Ceremony* for the academic session *2026-27* was held with great enthusiasm at *Swami Chhagan Lal Lala Hans Raj Jain Public Senior Secondary School, Amloh Road, Khanna*.

Students were elected for various leadership roles including *Assistant House Prefects, House Prefects, House Captains, Vice Captains, Assistant Head Boy & Head Girl, and Head Boy & Head Girl* of the school.

This year, students from the *Junior Wing* were also chosen for leadership positions. The entire school has been divided into *four houses* named after the Vedas:
*Rig Veda, Sam Veda, Yajur Veda, and Atharva Veda*.

The newly elected student council members were adorned with *house badges and sashes* by the Coordinators, House In-charges, and the Principal Ma'am.

After the oath-taking ceremony, Principal Ma'am addressed the students. She urged them to be torchbearers for the juniors and to uphold the dignity of the school by maintaining discipline and keeping the school flag high.

We congratulate all the newly appointed leaders and wish them success in leading with responsibility and pride.

*Today's Activities at School – 2nd May 2026*

Today was another wonderful day for our students.

The children of *Nursery to LKG* participated in a *Colouring Competition*, while students of *Classes 1st to 5th* took part in an *English Calligraphy Competition*.

All students participated in both activities with great enthusiasm.
