Celebrating Leadership, Responsibility, Service and Excellence
Bal Bharati Public School, SSTPP Khandwa, proudly organised its Investiture Ceremony 2026–27, marking the formal induction of the newly appointed Student Council and House Leaders. The ceremony was a memorable celebration of leadership, responsibility, discipline, teamwork and service.
The august occasion was graced by Mrs. Indu Dubey Ma’am, BJP District Vice-President, Khandwa, as the Chief Guest, and Mrs. Simpal Sahu Ma’am, President, Mahila Mandal, as the Guest of Honour along with other members of Mahila Mandal Ms. Pooja Alava, Ms. Madhvi Tiwari and Ms. Alka Kori. The school also extended a warm welcome to Mrs. Jyoti Gupta Ma’am, Principal, respected teachers, dignitaries, parents and the student community.
🎖️ WELCOME & INAUGURAL CEREMONY
The programme commenced with a warm welcome by the anchors, Anushree Anuragi and Vaibhavi Saxena, followed by the ceremonial Lighting of the Lamp, symbolising knowledge, wisdom, enlightenment and the beginning of an auspicious journey. The distinguished guests were felicitated as a mark of gratitude and respect.
🎤 PRINCIPAL’S ADDRESS
Mrs. Jyoti Gupta Ma’am, Principal, addressed the gathering with her inspiring words and highlighted the importance of vision, values, teamwork and responsible leadership in shaping a successful school community.
💃 HARYANVI FOLK DANCE
The cultural segment featured a vibrant Haryanvi folk dance conveying the powerful message of “Save the Girl Child, Educate the Girl Child.” Through energetic beats and expressive performances, the students beautifully portrayed the strength, potential and empowerment of daughters.
🇮🇳 VANDE MATARAM
The soulful rendition of Vande Mataram paid tribute to the spirit of India and filled the atmosphere with patriotism, pride and reverence for the motherland.
🌟 WORDS FROM THE FORMER HEAD GIRL
Somya Upadhyay, Former Head Girl, Session 2025–26, shared an inspiring reflection on her leadership journey. She emphasised that leadership is not about standing ahead of others, but about standing beside them, listening, encouraging and taking responsibility. She beautifully described leadership as a torch that must be carried forward and passed to the next generation.
🎖️ INVESTITURE & PINNING OF BADGES
The most significant segment of the ceremony was the formal conferment of leadership positions and Pinning of Badges, symbolising trust, responsibility and commitment.

• Heritage Ambassador – Paridhi Chauhan
• Vice Heritage Ambassador – Aniruda Pawar
• Cultural Secretary – Sara Verma
• Vice Cultural Secretary – Pratishtha Gehlot
• Community Welfare Secretary – Priyanshi Dhote
• Vice Community Welfare Secretary – Harsh*ta Kawasiya
• Editor-in-Chief – Rashi Chauhan
• Vice Editor-in-Chief – Samarth Dangi
The House Captains and Vice-Captains were also formally badged, representing Ashoka, Shastri, Shivaji and Subhash Houses. The House Prefects and volunteers were likewise recognised for their responsibilities and contribution to school activities.
The Pinning of Badges Ceremony was conducted with the guidance and support of Ms. Mahima Chaudhary Ma’am and Ms. Pooja Maheshwari Ma’am.
🤝 OATH ADMINISTRATION
The newly appointed student leaders then took the Oath of Leadership under the guidance of Mrs. Jyoti Gupta Ma’am, Principal, pledging to uphold integrity, discipline, responsibility, service and the values of the institution. The message “सत्यमेव जयते — Truth Alone Triumphs” served as an inspiring reminder of the principles of ethical leadership.
🎶 SCHOOL SONG – UNITED IN SPIRIT
The school community came together in the School Song, celebrating the shared values, memories, aspirations and unity that bind the Bal Bharati family together.
🗣️ COUNCIL HEADS – VOICES OF NEW LEADERSHIP
The newly appointed leaders shared their thoughts and vision for the session. The Head Girl and Head Boy, Sports Captains, IT Heads, Heritage Ambassadors, Cultural Secretaries, Community Welfare Secretaries, Editors and House Captains presented their aspirations for the year ahead.
Their messages reflected a common commitment towards excellence, teamwork, innovation, sportsmanship, cultural preservation, social responsibility, communication and inclusive leadership.
🏆 BEST HOUSE TROPHY – CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE
The much-awaited Best House Trophy was presented during the ceremony. After a year of dedication, discipline, teamwork, participation and perseverance, the coveted trophy was awarded to:

The achievement was celebrated with a resounding round of applause, recognising the collective efforts and exemplary spirit of all its members.
🎤 ADDRESSES BY THE DIGNITARIES
The Chief Guest, Mrs. Indu Dubey Ma’am, addressed the gathering and shared valuable and inspirational thoughts with the young leaders.
The Guest of Honour, Mrs. Simpal Sahu Ma’am, also addressed the students, offering words of wisdom, encouragement and guidance for their journey ahead.
🙏 VOTE OF THANKS
The ceremony moved towards its conclusion with the Vote of Thanks, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the dignitaries, Principal, teachers, parents, student leaders, participants, organisers and everyone whose contribution made the ceremony successful and memorable.
🇮🇳 NATIONAL ANTHEM
The event concluded with the National Anthem, as everyone stood together with dignity, pride and reverence for the nation.

The Investiture Ceremony 2026–27 was not merely a celebration of badges and titles; it was a celebration of trust, responsibility, character and service.
