A language lab is an environment that enables all students to practice their listening and speaking skills concurrently. Students can work individually and/or collaborate with their classmates in pairs, small groups, and full-class settings. For the same number of activities will be taken up in up in the language Lab (Individual reading, group reading, discussion, thematic discussion, letter, word & Sentence jumble, text match, image match, story telling and writing) . A language lab has been setup in Govt. Elementary School, Govindpur under Keonjhar Muncipality to provide children a better learning experience. Books, Teaching Learning Material, Foundation Literacy and Numeracy materials and different materials for activity based learning are integral part of the Language Lab . Today (8.05.2022)the Students and teachers are engaged in different activities on a Sunday to make the Language lab a happening place for the students and teachers. Speaking Wall an innovation of the Keonjhar District Administration .Under speaking wall several interesting, joyful, colourful and content related visuals will be created in the school campus. The beauty of speaking wall is that children learn without being taught and they do so joyfully. Speaking wall is about innovatively treating the space and the built elements to make the existing school architecture more resourceful with higher educational value in a child friendly manner. The Speaking wall initiative is a major component of 5T High School Transformation Programme. In the 1st Phase of High School Transformation 100 Schools were covered and in the 2nd phase the Speaking Wall activities will be expanded to 203 High Schools. This knowledge is integral to a cultural complex that also encompasses language, systems of classification, resource use practices, social interactions, ritual and spirituality. Local and Indigenous Knowledge Systems programme (LINKS) promotes local and indigenous knowledge. LINKS has been influential in ensuring that local and indigenous knowledge holders and their knowledge are included in School Education System.The LINK programme of Keonjhar is an unique attempt for ensuring a learning eco system based upon tribal language, culture and knowledge system.

Mini Hanging Library provided to all the Elementary Schools in order to promote reading skill of the Children. A set of 100 Books provide to all the primary section of the District. The Books provide are graded reading materials which are based upon the class wise competency. 2248 Kits provide to 1700 Schools.
