'Teachers' Day' was celebrated with pomp and show on 5th September 2022 at Sunrise International Academy.
Students paid tribute to Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and presented cultural programmes to honour all the teachers. Student teachers engaged the classes with great responsibility.
It was a memorable day indeed!!

Sweeter than honey, tastier than curd, pleasanter than any happiness and joy is the power in the name 'KRISHNA'.
Sri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with great fervour and gaiety at Sunrise International Academy on Friday, 19 June 2022. All students came traditionally dressed as Radha and Krishna with flute and pot.
The Principal and staff performed pooja and offered prayers to Lord Krishna and Radha. The fragrance of flowers, soothing aroma of camphor and the jingle of bells filled the air. Prasada was distributed to everyone.
Children had a great time participating in the dance and other activities.

Sweeter than honey, tastier than curd, pleasanter than any happiness and joy is the power in the name of KRISHNA.

'Raksha' means protection and 'Bandhan' means bond. Thus, Raksha bandhan means the 'Bond of Protection' between a Brother and Sister. Sisters tie a Rakhi on the wrist of their brothers. Sisters pray for the long life of their brothers.
At Sunrise International Academy, 'Rakhi Making' Activity was conducted for all the students on Thursday, 11 August 2022. Colourful Rakhis were made by our students. They used decorative threads, stars, mirrors, pearls and flowers for making beautiful Rakhis. The event was celebrated with full enthusiasm and zeal.

'Fireless Cooking' teaches some valuable skills in life. This encourages children's creativity, thinking and problem solving skills.
Major benefits of fireless cooking are:
*Allows them to explore new food.
*Develops Math and Science skills.
*Understand the importance of health and good hygiene.
*Teaches responsibilities.
Grades 1 to 8 students of Sunrise International Academy participated in the fireless cooking competition as part of CCA and gained lot of knowledge about fruits, vegetables and cooking equipments. This activity boosted their confidence and laid the foundation for healthy eating habits.

Salad Making Competition as part of CCA was held at Sunrise International Academy on 14th July 2022. The competition was open for kindergarten students. The objective behind the competition was to inculcate healthy food habits and awareness regarding the choice of food.
Our tiny tots of IK3 made different mouthwatering fruits and vegetables salad which was presented in beautiful designs!
