The establishment of the same is an important landmark in the history of voluntary cultural action in kendrapara sub-divison. It is formed in the name of honourable Sri Bhabagrahi Parida of village Barua,Dist:Kendrapara, who is an eminent writter,ideal teacher,a very good organiser having noble personalities. He is famous for his outstanding contributions in the fields of literature. Bhabagrahi Kala Niketan, Barua is Registered under societies registration act and affiliated to Pracheen Kala Kendra ,Chandigarh as well as Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademy ,Bhubaneswar. The organisation is extending in innovation training facility for about 100 students on various subjects like Vocal & Instrumental music,Dance,Drama, Folk-media,Fine Art etc. The training programme has been conducted by a panel of highly qualified & professional teaching staffs. It also has been performing programme through A.I.R. Cuttack, Door Darshan Bhubaneswar, S.I.E.T. Bhubaneswar, I&PR Department.,Culture Department etc since its inception. It has been observing various National and Intetnational days every year. Bhabagrahi Kala Niketan is a very popular cultural organisation of Odisha, It is famous for its awarness generating programmes through street play/folk-media. With the passage of time acceptance and recognition as a leading voluntary cultural organisation of Training,Research programme and project. It has been serving our nation through cultural movement. It has been working with a noble aim for eradication of poverty,iliteracy,leprsy,violence,diowry etc. It has been working on Anti women traffiking,Anti-terrorism,Anti-drug campagin, pollution free environment, HIV/AIDS to build up a healthy and prosperous society.
