💔 HOME REDUCED TO A PLASTIC SHEET: HEARTBREAKING SCENES AT SIVASAGAR RAILWAY STATION 💔

​While the floodwaters may slowly begin to retreat in some areas, the nightmare is far from over for hundreds of displaced families across Sivasagar.
​These visuals from the Sivasagar Town Railway Station show the harsh reality our people are enduring:
​Open concrete platforms turned into cramped temporary shelters.
​Families with toddlers and elderly members living under fragile blue tarpaulins and old clothes tied to electric poles and station walls.
​No clean beds, limited access to hygienic drinking water, and persistent exposure to heat, rain, and mosquitoes.
​After losing their homes, livestock, and lifelong savings to the deluge, these families are surviving day-to-day on sheer willpower and community relief efforts.
​The flood may wash away in a few weeks, but rebuilding broken lives will take months. We urgently appeal to local authorities, NGOs, and civil society organizations to scale up sanitation, clean drinking water supply, baby food, and mosquito nets for the families camped across station premises.
​Please keep sharing the ground reality—our displaced brothers and sisters need our support more than ever! 🌾🤲
