Scottish Public School established in 1991,functioned from a few tents pitched on the ground cleared from the onslaught of brambles. Today, spread over an area of about 3 acres of lush, green lawns, in the city of katihar, Scottish Public School is a co-educational day-cum-boarding school. The foundation stone of the school building was laid in 1991by Dr. Avinash .The impressive school building today comprises , laboratories, a computer centre, audio-visual lecture rooms, libraries, laboratories,conference hall and the hostel .The school functions under a registered society named satyam educational and social enhancement trust under the guidance of chairperson(founder)Dr Avinash kumar,director Mr.Geet Avinash and principal Mr. Scottish Public School offers courses in Commerce and Science. It prepares students for the All India Senior School Certificate Examination, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Keeping in view the ideals of democracy and our ancient culture, Scottish Public School strives to provide a system of education most suited to the needs of our society today. Stress on diverse methods of teaching for different categories of students, opportunities for shouldering responsibilities in school life, constant participation in games and sports, a wide range of cultural and co-curricular activities lend meaning to our school life. Thus, the end product is the harmonious, all round developed personality of our students poised on the threshold of life.

We are proud to showcase the remarkable journey of Team SmartSphere Innovators from Scottish Public School, Katihar at the WRO Future Innovators 2026 (Junior Category).

After securing an impressive rank in the Virtual Round, the team qualified for the WRO Regional Championship 2026, held in Kolkata, where they represented their school with innovation, confidence, and teamwork, achieving a commendable performance among the participating teams.

The highlight of our project was an AI-powered Guide Robot designed to promote and preserve Indian cultural heritage. The robot is equipped with knowledge of the Ramayana and Mahabharata and can interact with visitors by answering their questions and guiding them through cultural and historical information.
