S.B.P. VIDYA VIHAR, KATIHAR - More Than Just a School, It's an Emotion
If you ask me what we have built in the last 20 years, I will not show you buildings. I will show you children.
S.B.P. Vidya Vihar School, Katihar was born in 2005 with a small dream - to give Katihar a school that parents can trust blindly. Today, after 20 years, that small dream has become the identity of thousands of families.
We are not just a CBSE Affiliated, Senior Secondary, Co-educational, English Medium school. We are Katihar's premium school because we have never compromised on two things - Quality Education and Discipline.
People praise our infrastructure. Yes, we have a sprawling green campus, modern labs, smart classes, a rich library and all top-class facilities. But a building does not make a school. What makes S.B.P. special is what happens inside those classrooms.
Here, a teacher still notices if a child has not brought his tiffin. Here, a principal still stands at the gate in the morning to say "Good Morning, Beta". Here, we still believe that a good human being is more important than a good marksheet.
For 20 years, we have seen little kids in oversized uniforms crying on their first day, and the same kids returning after 12 years as confident doctors, engineers, officers, and good citizens to touch our feet. That journey is our real result.
Many schools teach quantity. We have always believed in quality. One disciplined, value-based student is worth more than a hundred toppers without sanskar. That is why Katihar trusts us. That is why parents say - "Baccha SBP me hai, toh tension nahi hai."
This school is not mine. It belongs to every parent who trusted us, every teacher who gave their youth to it, and every student who called it his second home.
20 years have passed. The uniform has changed, the building has grown bigger, but the soul remains the same - To make children educated, not just literate.
