NOTICE FOR CLOSURE OF SCHOOLS

This is to inform all Principals and School Owners that all private schools in District Kathua will remain closed on April 23, 2025, as a mark of resentment and solidarity following the tragic Pehalgam terrorist attack.

In accordance with the directive of Mr. Rachhpal Singh Jasrotia, President of the Jammu and Kashmir Private Schools Association (JKPSA) Kathua, we request everyone to offer prayers and stand united in honouring the memory of those who lost their lives in this unfortunate incident.

We join hands in paying tribute to the victims and expressing our solidarity with their families.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐮 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐢𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢 𝐑𝐚𝐠𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐡𝐫𝐢.

A pivotal meeting of the Jammu and Kashmir Private Schools Association (JKPSA) was convened today in Lakhri, Billawar, drawing together members from Billawar, Bhaddu, and Malhar zones. The primary focus of the gathering was the establishment of zone level committees to streamline operations and enhance collaboration within the association. Distinguished guests, General Secretary of JKPSA, Sh. Satpal Mansotra, and Organiser, Sh. Madan Mohan Sharma, oversaw the proceedings. The District executive committee of JKPSA, led by President Sh. Rachpaul Singh Jasrotia and General Secretary Mr. Ankur Arora, along with Vice President Sh. Shanti Bhushan, and Joint Secretary Sh. Rann Singh, facilitated the discussions. Notable senior members of the District Executive Body including Sh. Malhar Singh, Sh. Romesh Gupta, Rajeev Jasrotia, Bewakar Andotra, Yash Sharma, Bharat Khajuria, Vatsul, and Iqbal Krishan Masqi were also in attendance. During the meeting, speakers shared insights on strengthening the association and voiced concerns to the District Body. President Mr. Rachpaul Jasrotia and General Secretary (central body) Mr. Satpaul Mansotra attentively listened to the issues raised and provided individual responses. In a significant development, Sh. Sanjay Kumar was elected as President and Sh. Basu Sharma as General Secretary of zone Billawar. Similarly, Sh. Darshan Singh was selected as President, and Sunil Khajuria and Bhawna Chouhan were appointed as General Secretary of zone Bhaddu. The appointments signify a new chapter in the leadership structure of the association, aiming to drive innovation and excellence in private school education across the region.
