As we mark our 80th Independence Day, Kamal Vidya Niketan came alive in the colours of our tricolour.

Every corner of our school reflected the spirit of India, adorned in saffron, white, and green, creating an atmosphere filled with pride and celebration. 🧡🤍💚

Our children added even more joy to the day, holding little flags in their hands, smiling brightly and celebrating the spirit of freedom together. 💙

Hello! KVN wants to take this moment to congratulate Raj Kumar Murmu on completing one beautiful month in Kamal Vidya Niketan! ⭐️

With a Master’s in English from Kolhan University and an integrated B.Ed-M.Ed from TISS, Mumbai, Raj believes that true learning begins when children feel safe, valued, and heard. His teaching approach focuses on building confidence, critical thinking, creativity, and student voice through meaningful and inclusive learning experiences.

From teaching primary learners in Chaibasa to implementing project-based learning in Mumbai’s municipal classrooms, he has worked to connect educational theory with real-world contexts. At Kamal Vidya Niketan, he aims to make English a bridge to opportunities and self-expression rather than a source of anxiety.

Through experiential learning and contextual sensitivity, he hopes to create a space where every child feels empowered to question, create, and grow while staying rooted in their identity. 🌱✨

We are so happy to have Raj Kumar Murmu as a part of the KVN family and look forward to seeing his continue to learn, grow, and make a difference.🌸

Hello! KVN wants to take this moment to congratulate AＭRＵTＨＡ BAIJＵ on completing one beautiful month in Kamal Vidya Niketan! ✨💐

Hailing from Kerala, Amrutha holds an MA in Social Work in Rural Development from TISS, Tuljapur, and a BSc in Psychology from MG University, Kerala.

As a first-generation learner, Amrutha deeply believes in the power of education to create meaningful change, especially for marginalized communities. She believes that quality education goes beyond academics to nurture a child’s cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development while being rooted in fairness, equality, and equity. 🌟

At KVN, she is exploring a new educational environment and growing as an educator through guided training and professional development. This journey is helping her build a meaningful career in education while contributing to long-term impact in the community of Kathiwada. 🌱🤝

Our Kindergarten 1 learners explored our “We Take Care” theme through joyful, hands-on experiences during Circle Time. 💚🌍

From learning to identify and sort “wet and dry waste” by creating a colourful waste segregation chart to building their own “wet and dry waste bins,” every activity helped them understand that keeping our surroundings clean starts with simple, everyday habits. ♻️

The best part is that these waste bins created by our young learners are now placed in our school corridors, where students can use them throughout the day—turning learning into meaningful action and encouraging everyone to care for our environment.

Through drawing, sorting, and creating together, our little learners developed observation skills, teamwork, and a growing sense of responsibility towards caring for the environment.

These smallest hands can make a big difference when they learn to care for our Earth. 🌱💚

Our Grade 2 learners brought our “We Take Care” theme to life through meaningful, hands-on experiences during Circle Time. 💚🌍

From leading a cleanliness drive and learning to segregate wet and dry waste to creating awareness posters, exploring composting, and building their own waste bins, every activity helped them discover that caring for our planet begins with small, everyday actions. ♻️

Along the way, they strengthened their teamwork, curiosity, and critical thinking as they observed their surroundings and reflected on the choices that help—or harm—our environment.

Because when children learn to care today, they become the changemakers of tomorrow. 🌱

Our Grade 1 learners embraced the “We Take Care” theme through thoughtful discussions, joyful songs, and meaningful conversations during Circle Time. 💚🌍

Together, they explored the importance of cleanliness, shared ideas about keeping themselves and their surroundings clean, and confidently performed a song with powerful slogan “We are the clean up crew-hip hip hooray” that encouraged everyone to care for the environment. 🎶♻️

As they listened, sang, and expressed their thoughts, they built awareness, communication skills, and a sense of responsibility—learning that every small action contributes to a cleaner and healthier world.

Because when children understand the value of caring today, they grow into responsible citizens of tomorrow. 🌱
