Space Discovery – An Outreach Experiential Visit

**Vivekanand Vidya Vihar, Maral Sarovar** organised an inspiring **Space Discovery – Outreach Experiential Visit** on **21st August 2026**, providing students of Classes VIII to XI with an enriching opportunity to explore the fascinating world of space science and India’s remarkable achievements in space exploration.

The students visited the **Vikram Sarabhai Space Exhibition, Ahmedabad**, organised by the **Space Applications Centre (ISRO)** at Lions Convent School, Sendhwa. The visit offered hundreds of enthusiastic young learners an engaging, first-hand experience of India’s space journey.

Students explored informative exhibits and models showcasing **launch vehicles, satellites and major space missions**, including **Aryabhatta, PSLV, Chandrayaan and Mangalyaan**. They also gained valuable insights into **remote sensing and its real-life applications**, helping them understand how space technology contributes to everyday life and national development.

A major highlight of the visit was the interaction with **ISRO experts**, who explained complex scientific concepts in an easy, engaging and interactive manner. Students enthusiastically participated in discussions and demonstrations, gaining a deeper appreciation of scientific innovation and India’s achievements in space technology.

# फिंगर पपेट द्वारा कहानी प्रस्तुतीकरण

**Vivekanand Vidya Vihar, Maral Sarovar** में कक्षा चौथी के विद्यार्थियों के लिए हिंदी विषय के अंतर्गत **“फिंगर पपेट द्वारा कहानी प्रस्तुतीकरण”** गतिविधि का रचनात्मक एवं आनंददायक आयोजन किया गया।

इस गतिविधि का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों में **कल्पनाशक्ति, रचनात्मकता, मौखिक अभिव्यक्ति, संवाद कौशल एवं आत्मविश्वास** का विकास करना था। विद्यार्थियों ने क्राफ्ट पेपर की सहायता से सुंदर फिंगर पपेट तैयार किए और उन्हें अपनी कहानी के पात्रों का रूप दिया। इसके पश्चात उन्होंने अपने द्वारा लिखी एवं तैयार की गई कहानियों को पपेट्स के माध्यम से प्रस्तुत किया।

गतिविधि के दौरान विद्यार्थियों ने कहानी के पात्रों को आवाज़, भाव-भंगिमा और संवाद प्रदान करते हुए कहानी को जीवंत रूप दिया। इस प्रक्रिया में उन्होंने पात्रों की पहचान, संवाद लेखन, कहानी निर्माण तथा प्रभावी प्रस्तुतीकरण का अभ्यास किया। समूह में कार्य करते हुए विद्यार्थियों ने **सहयोग, टीमवर्क और एक-दूसरे के विचारों का सम्मान** करना भी सीखा।

Vivekanand Vidya Vihar, Maral Sarovar, celebrated the **80th Independence Day** with immense pride, patriotic fervour and a strong sense of responsibility towards the nation.

The celebration beautifully reflected the values of **leadership, discipline, unity, teamwork and responsible citizenship**. The programme commenced with the **School Council, SDG Council, House Council and Class Council Oath Ceremony**, where student leaders pledged to discharge their responsibilities with sincerity, integrity and dedication. The enthusiastic students of Class 5 at Vivekanand Vidya Vihar, Maral Sarovar participated in an engaging EVS Teaching and Learning Activity – “Our Teeth Heroes”, conducted under the guidance of Subject Teacher Ms. Sarika Patidar.

Through an interactive and hands-on approach, students explored the structure, types, functions, and care of human teeth. They created 3D clay models and identified the four major types of teeth — Incisors, Canines, Premolars, and Molars — while understanding their respective roles in biting, tearing, crushing, and grinding food.

The students confidently presented their models and demonstrated proper brushing techniques and essential oral-hygiene practices, connecting classroom knowledge with healthy habits in everyday life.

This experiential activity encouraged students to learn through participation and strengthened their creativity, communication, critical thinking, observation, presentation skills, and scientific understanding. Most importantly, it reinforced the value of maintaining good dental hygiene from an early age.

🌿 **FROM WASTE TO OPPORTUNITY – MY JOURNEY TOWARDS SUSTAINABILITY** ♻️

Through the activity **“From Waste to Opportunity”**, our student demonstrated how discarded **bale wrapping cloth collected from the blow rooms of cotton mills** can be thoughtfully transformed into useful, eco-friendly products instead of becoming waste.
