Sports Day 2024: A Celebration of Skills, Teamwork, and Talent!

Sports Day at CRMMS was a vibrant celebration of physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship, bringing together enthusiastic participants from preschool to grade 10. The event began with impressive drill performances, setting the stage for a series of exciting sports events! Learners showcased their skills in karate, yoga, silambam, ribbon dance, pyramid formations, obstacle races, and energetic dance performances.

Sports Day 2024 was truly an unforgettable experience for all!

எங்கள் பொங்கல் திருவிழா!

பொங்கல் என்பது தமிழர்களால் சிறப்பாகக் கொண்டாடப்படும் ஓர் அறுவடைப் பண்டிகையாகும்.

உழவர்களின் சிறப்பை உலகிற்கு எடுத்துக்காட்டும் நன்னாள் உழவர் திருநாளாகும்.

இந்நன்னாளில் உள்ளம் மகிழ்ந்து, உறவுகள் ஒன்றிணைந்து, உற்சாகம் பொங்கும் நாளாகும். உதிக்கும் கதிரவனை உளமாற தொழுது, நன்றியுடன் கொண்டாடும் புண்ணிய நாளாகும்.

இந்நன்னாளில் பச்சரிசிக் கோலமிட்டு, மஞ்சள் தோரணங்கள் கட்டி புத்தரிசி பொங்கலிட்டு, கரும்பு வைத்து படையலிட்டு, பாரம்பரிய உடையணிந்து கொண்டாடப்படும் அழகிய நிகழ்வாகும்.

எங்கள் செட்டிநாடு இராணி மெய்யம்மை மெட்ரிக் பள்ளியில், பாரம்பரிய கலை நிகழ்ச்சிகளுடன் நடைபெற்ற பொங்கல் திருவிழாவின் சிறப்பு தருணங்களை புகைப்படத் தொகுப்பாக காணலாம்.

Learning Road Safety!

Our learners in Grade 3 delved into the importance of road safety and how to stay safe on the roads! They learnt about road safety rules, traffic signs, and how everyone, including pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers, can help prevent accidents.

To make it fun and creative, they made models and colourful charts to share what they learnt with their peers. Learning road safety rules early helps develop lifelong habits, keeping them safe on the roads!

Spreading Christmas Cheer

Christmas is a time of cheer, love, and joy, and at CRMMS, we celebrated it with a lot of enthusiasm, spreading the message of love and happiness among our children.

The spirit of the season came alive with the graceful dances by our angels in Grade 4 and 5. Even our very own Santa joined in on the fun, delighting our young learners from Grades 1 to 4.

The festivities concluded with an enchanting Christmas skit by Grade 5, leaving everyone immersed in the magic of the season.

It was truly a memorable celebration that filled our hearts with the Christmas spirit.

Congratulations to B. M. Illaikiya!

We are thrilled to share Illaikiya's outstanding milestone of securing 1st place in the District Level Badminton Tournament and being selected for the State Level competition!

Adding to her success in badminton, Illaikiya also won 1st place in a marathon, winning a cash prize of ₹10,000.

Her dedication, talent, and hard work in both sports are truly inspiring. We are incredibly proud of her achievements and wish her the very best for her upcoming competitions!
