One Nation, One Spirit, One Bharat

The Independence Day celebration was a vibrant tribute to the spirit of Bharat, marked by the flag hoisting, March Past, Mass Drill and Bharata Vandanam. The young patriots of the four houses added to the patriotic fervour as they paid tribute to Bharat, Amma and Bharatamba. The school was honoured to have Sri Subeesh K. D., Inspector, CRPF and VIP Security Officer, as the Chief Guest. In his inspiring address, he reminded the students that serving the nation is not always about doing big things, but about doing the little things of everyday life with sincerity and responsibility—a simple message that made the celebration all the more meaningful.

A Story of Love and Sacrifice

On the 22nd day of Karkkidakam, the Class I students took everyone into the heart of the Ramayana through a tender depiction of Rama’s Vanavasam, as part of the Ramayana Masam celebrations. Their innocent gestures and simple, sincere acting brought alive Rama’s departure, Dasaratha’s anguish at being separated from his beloved son, and the challenges of forest life. What made the presentation truly special was its childlike purity—the little ones narrated a profound story without losing its warmth and innocence. Through their performance, they gently reminded us that love may demand sacrifice, duty may call for difficult choices, and true character is revealed by the way we face them with courage and faith.

A Rainbow Day of Joy

Amrita Vidyalayam, Puthiyakavu, came alive in a beautiful burst of colours as the KG section celebrated Rainbow Day on 4 August 2026. Dressed in their VIBGYOR colours, the little ones created a vibrant human rainbow during the morning assembly, filling the campus with smiles and excitement. Cheerful rhymes, colourful talks, and fun-filled activities like rainbow colouring, clay modelling, and VIBGYOR line-walking made learning truly joyful. More than just discovering the seven colours, the children experienced the magic of learning together, creating a day as bright and beautiful as a rainbow.

Guru Purnima – A Day to Bow with Gratitude

Guru Purnima was observed with profound devotion at our school, reminding everyone that the greatest blessings in life come through the guidance of a Guru. The sacred celebrations were graciously presided over by Brahmachari Viswapriyamrita Chaitanyaji, Principal of Amrita Vidyalayam, Changanassery, whose inspiring presence added spiritual depth to the occasion. The programme featured the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, prayers, Guru Paduka Pooja, the chanting of Amma's Ashtotharam, and soulful bhajans that filled the atmosphere with devotion. A deeply moving Samskriti Pooja, where students performed Pada Pooja to their parents, beautifully honoured the first Gurus in every child's life. As prayers rose and hearts bowed in gratitude, the celebration became a gentle reminder that the Guru's grace is the light that guides us towards wisdom, compassion, and selfless service. The programme concluded with the distribution of Prasad, leaving every heart enriched with devotion and gratitude.
