We are thrilled to announce an upcoming Distinguished Talk as part of the Amrita Colloquium Series on "Simpler Cryptography". Join us this Friday, 31 July 2026, from 02:30 to 04:00 PM IST, as we dive into the fundamental ideas behind cryptography and explore how simpler approaches help us build secure systems for a more secure digital world.
It is an absolute honor to host our speaker, Prof. Joan Daemen, a world-renowned cryptographer and Professor of Digital Security at Radboud University, The Netherlands. As a co-designer of the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) and the Keccak algorithm (which forms the basis of the SHA-3 standard), Prof. Daemen will be sharing accessible and intuitive insights on how cryptographic techniques provide security, privacy, and trust.
This session is a fantastic opportunity to learn directly from an industry pioneer while aligning with global goals for quality education, industry innovation, and partnerships. Be sure to scan the QR code on the flyer to register and secure your spot!
