Educational Qualification: Candidates should have Bachelor Degree from a recognized University for Post-A, 10+2 or equivalent from recognized institutions/ Board for Post-B with relevant sports qualification.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Trial, Proficiency Test & Medical Exam.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 100/- in the form of Postal Order drawn in favour of the concerned officer and payable at concerned post office mentioned in notification. No fee for SC, ST & Ex-Servicemen candidates.

शैक्षिक योग्यता:
आवेदक को स्नातक की डिग्री या बैचलर ऑफ साइंस या समकक्ष मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय से उत्तीर्ण होना चाहिए और कंप्यूटर वर्ड प्रोसेसिंग और स्प्रेडशीट के संचालन में दक्षता होनी चाहिए.

उम्मीदवार को पंजाबी के साथ मैट्रिक परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करनी चाहिए या वैकल्पिक विषय में से एक या पंजाबी भाषा में किसी भी अन्य समकक्ष परीक्षा होना अनिवार्य है, जिसे सरकार द्वारा समय-समय पर निर्दिष्ट किया जा सकता है.

नोट:- आवेदक, जिनके पास किसी भी अनुशासन जैसे: कला, वाणिज्य, विज्ञान या कंप्यूटर से स्नातक होना चाहिए.

चयन प्रक्रिया:

उम्मीदवार को इंग्लिश शोर्टहैण्ड टेस्ट और उसके ट्रांसक्रिप्शन में क्रमशः 80 शब्द प्रति मिनट और 20 शब्द प्रति मिनट गति के साथ उत्तीर्ण होना चाहिए.
उम्मीदवार को कंप्यूटर प्रोफिशियेंसी टेस्ट उत्तीर्ण करना होगा (वर्ड प्रोसेसिंग और स्प्रेडशीट).
कंप्यूटर प्रोफिशियेंसी टेस्ट (वर्ड प्रोसेसिंग और स्प्रेडशीट) अनिवार्य है.
कंप्यूटर प्रोफिशियेंसी टेस्ट उत्तीर्ण योग्य होंगी और उनके अंक या प्रस्तुति अंतिम मेरिट में गिनी नहीं जाएँगी.
चयन इंग्लिश शॉर्टहैंड और उसकी ट्रांसक्रिप्शन में प्रस्तुति के आधार पर किया जायेगा.
