On May 30, 2026, World No To***co Day was celebrated by the National Service Scheme (NSS) under the Haryana Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee at Mata Sundri Khalsa Girls College, Nissing, under the chairmanship of Principal Dr. Satwant Kaur Mann.On this occasion, all the students took an oath that, under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (Drug-Free India Campaign), they will inspire their workplace, acquaintances, and family members not to consume drugs. The students also pledged to actively participate in the government's campaign under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. NSS Program Officer Geetika and other members were present during the event.

Mata Sundri Khalsa Girls College Students Excel in BCA 3rd Semester Examination*

*Nissing, June 2026:* The students of BCA 3rd Semester of Mata Sundri Khalsa Girls College, Nissing, have achieved excellent results in the Kurukshetra University examinations. The college recorded a *100% pass result, with all students securing **more than 80% marks*, bringing laurels to the institution.

*Sarika* secured the *first position* in the class with an outstanding *SGPA of 9.67. **Muskan Devi* stood *second* with an impressive *SGPA of 9.54, while **Tanya* secured the *third position* with an *SGPA of 9.17*.

Among the other meritorious students, *Harshdeep* secured the *fourth position* with an *SGPA of 9.12, and **Kirandeep* achieved the *fifth position* with an *SGPA of 8.92*.

The Principal, Dr. Satwant Kaur Mann, congratulated the students on their remarkable achievement and appreciated the efforts of the faculty members for their dedication and guidance. She encouraged the students to continue striving for excellence in academics and wished them success in their future endeavors.

The achievement reflects the college's commitment to providing quality education and fostering academic excellence among its students.

On 5 June 2026, World Environment Day was celebrated at Mata Sundri Khalsa Girls College, Nissing, under the aegis of the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, under the chairpersonship of Dr. Satwant Kaur Mann, the Principal. The event was organized jointly by the National Service Scheme (NSS), Red Cross, and Eco Club.

On this occasion, NSS volunteers took an online pledge through the My Life Portal, keeping in mind the theme of World Environment Day. All the students also took a pledge in the college campus that they would keep their surroundings clean and contribute to environmental protection.

The Principal planted a sapling in the college campus to mark the occasion. She encouraged the students to minimize the use of plastic so that the fertility and productivity of the soil can be preserved for future generations.

To commemorate World Environment Day, the students also prepared posters on the theme “Say No to Plastic.”

Members of the NSS, Red Cross, and Eco Club, including Geetika, Mamta, Mekha, and Mandeep Kaur, were present during the event.

On 16 April 2026, student Hema of Mata Sundri Khalsa Girls College, Nissing, under Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Kurukshetra, won a Silver Medal in the All India University Games 2026. On this achievement, Dr. Satwant Kaur Mann honored the student in the college and motivated all students to actively participate in sports and continue bringing pride to their college and village through such accomplishments.

Student Hema shared that the tournament was organized in Assam from 6 April to 9 April 2026, where she secured the Silver Medal. Members of the entire staff and the Physical Education Department were present on the occasion to congratulate the student on her success.

Moment for Our College

3 students of M.A. Punjabi 1st Year 1st Sem., Mata Sundri Khalsa Girls College, Nissing (Under the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Kurukshetra) brought great pride to the institution by securing top positions in Kurukshetra University Results 2026.

The university declared the results recently, where our students delivered an excellent performance .

1st Position in K*K - Muskan
2nd Position in K*K* - Khuhleen
4th Position in K*K* - Parmjeet Kaur.

The university declared the M.A. final year results, and the students achieved a 100% result in the 3rd semester.

On this occasion, Principal Dr. Satwant Kaur Maan congratulated Punjabi Department and all the students nd wished them continued success in the future.

Members of the Punjabi Department, Assistant Prof. Kulvinder Kaur and Assistant Prof. Amritpal Kaur, along with other staff members, were also present to congratulate and motivate the students.
