Excursion to Zoo- Class LKG to V

An educational cm pleasure trip to the zoo was organized by Gurukulam Academy for the students of classes LKG to V on 17th October 2024 to expose the children to the animal kingdom and their various existing species. Students were fascinated and delighted to virtually see the varied animals and birds which they had so far seen only on their television sets and in books. For ex: the Asiatic lion, Royal bengal tiger, Rhinoceros, crocodile made their presence felt through their sounds and reverberated the environment. The excursion proved to be an outdoor classroom for the students as they were able to capture and acquire social life skills along with experiential learning.

The Victory of Good Over Evil - Dussehra Celebration is held on 10/10/24 in Gurukulam Academy.
Dussehra which is also called Vijayadashmi, is celebrated as the victory of Goddess Durga over the demon Mahisasura and to rejoice the victory of Lord Rama over the demon king Ravana. The significance of the festival i.e. the 'Victory Of Good Over Evil' was conveyed to the little ones by the teachers by narrating the story about this celebration. The relevance of this festival was also conveyed to the little ones by explaining the significance of enculcating positive values .

The parent-teacher meeting (PTM) @ Gurukulam Academy, for the academic year 2024-25 was held on Saturday 28th September showcased the talented work our children have done during the current term. These meetings serve as an important opportunity for parents and teachers to meet and discuss the child’s . It also gives parents an insight into their child’s and the challenges they face. The teachers are thus able to obtain feedback from parents on how they can best support the child’s learning. These meetings are especially important for the Primary School children, given that they are at a crucial stage of their development. A successful parent - teacher interaction builds a stronger between the two stakeholders, which ultimately leads to a better outcome for the child.

Independence Day (14.8.24)
Independence day in India is celebrated on 15 August,every year. It is a day of pride and honour,as it marks india's Independence from British rule. Independence Day was Celebrated at Gurukulam Academy on 14 August 2024, with zeal and enthusiasm.
On the occassion of Independence day, the teachers spoke to the kids about the relevance of Independence Day Celebration.
The little ones looked charming in white colour attire, with tricolour sachet. They participated enthusiastically in the flag hoisting ceremony.
