Dyal Singh Public School, Dyal Singh Colony, Karnal, organized a meaningful and engaging Talk Show on “Time Management for Students” on 2 September 2026. All the students participated enthusiastically. Parents were also invited to be a part of this enriching learning experience, and they encouraged the students with their presence.

Through their speeches, dialogues, and creative presentations, the students shared valuable thoughts on the importance of time, planning, punctuality, discipline, prioritizing tasks, and avoiding distractions. They beautifully explained how effective time management helps students stay organized, complete their work on time, and move towards success.

The Talk Show was an enriching experience that enhanced the students’ confidence, communication skills, teamwork, and sense of responsibility.

Dyal Singh Public School, Dyal Singh Colony, Karnal, successfully organized a wonderful Role Play Presentation "Healthy Food Healthy Life" by the students of Class III lnnovators on 2nd September, 2026 in the school Multipurpose Hall.
The presentation aimed
to create awareness among students about the importance of healthy eating habits, physical activity, yoga and a balanced lifestyle.
The programme began with a prayer presented by the students, creating a positive and peaceful atmosphere and seeking blessings for the successful conduct of the programme.
This was followed by an energetic action song performed by the students. Through lively actions and movements, the students conveyed the importance of staying active and adopting healthy habits in their daily lives.
The main highlight of the programme was the role play on “Healthy Food, Healthy Life.” The students enthusiastically portrayed different food groups such as green vegetables, fruits, root vegetables, millets, pulses and dairy products. Through their dialogues and performances, they explained the nutritional value and health benefits of these foods.
The students also highlighted the importance of making healthy food choices and avoiding excessive consumption of junk and unhealthy food. The role play effectively conveyed the message that a balanced and nutritious diet is essential for good health and overall well-being.

Janamashtmi , the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna, was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm by the students of Classes 1 and 2 of Dyal Singh Public School on 2nd September.

The celebration began with a short talk by the teacher about the life and teachings of Lord Krishna.

To make the day more creative and engaging, a *Flute Decoration Activity* was conducted for the students. The students decorated flutes using *paper straws, coloured tapes and stickers*. They showed great excitement and creativity in decorating their flutes. The activity helped in enhancing their fine motor skills and artistic sense. The celebration filled the atmosphere with devotion, joy and festivity. A short animated movie related to Lord Krishna was shown to the students. The movie depicted the childhood leelas of Lord Krishna and his teachings. Students watched it with great interest and learned about the values of truth, love and friendship.
