*Proud Achievement in National Karate Championship 2026*
We are delighted to share that Bhavesh Sharma brought laurels by winning a Gold Medal in the Youth Cup Open National Karate-Do Championship 2026, organized by the Japan Karate-Do NanbuKai Sh*to Ryu India.
The championship was held at Divisional Sports Complex on 27–28 April 2026. Bhavesh participated in the 6–7 years age category and showcased exceptional talent, discipline, and determination to secure the prestigious Gold Medal.
We congratulate Bhavesh on this remarkable achievement and wish him continued success in the future.

The students of Dyal Singh Public School enthusiastically participated in a fun-filled Pool Party organised on the school campus for Classes LKG to 2. The event was held on 9 May 2026 and brought great joy and excitement to the children.

Students arrived in colourful swimwear with cheerful energy. The pool area was beautifully decorated with balloons, music, and playful decorations, creating a lively and refreshing atmosphere.

Children enjoyed splashing activities and fun games under the careful supervision of their teachers. The celebration also included music, dance, and light refreshments, making the event even more enjoyable for everyone.

The Pool Party gave students a wonderful opportunity to relax, have fun with friends, and create happy summer memories. The event was truly successful, memorable, and filled with laughter and excitement.

The students of Dyal Singh Public School, DSC enthusiastically participated in a fun-filled Pool Party organised on the school campus for students of Classes III to V.
The event was held over two exciting days, 9th and 10th May, and brought great joy and excitement to the children.
Students were full of cheerful energy. The venue was filled with colourful slides, lively music, and playful decorations, creating a vibrant and refreshing atmosphere.

Mother’s Day was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm on 8th May, 2026 at Dyal Singh Public School, Main Branch for the students of Nursery to UKG. On this special occasion, a card-making activity was organized to help the little learners express their love and gratitude towards their mothers.
The students enthusiastically participated in the activity and made beautiful handmade cards using colours and creative decorations. The tiny tots enjoyed showcasing their creativity and expressed heartfelt feelings for their mothers through their colourful creations.
The activity not only enhanced the artistic skills of the students but also helped them understand the importance of love, care, and respect for mothers. The cheerful smiles and excitement of the children made the celebration memorable and meaningful.

Classes VI – VIII

To celebrate the occasion of Mother’s Day and to express love, gratitude, and respect towards mothers, various activities were successfully conducted for Classes VI to VIII during the school hours.

Class VI – Poem Recitation

Students of Class VI participated enthusiastically in the Poem Recitation Activity. The students beautifully recited poems dedicated to mothers, expressing emotions of love, care, sacrifice, and gratitude. The activity helped enhance students’ confidence, speaking skills, and emotional expression.

Class VII – Letter Writing

Topic: “Things I Never Told You”

Students of Class VII wrote heartfelt letters to their mothers expressing feelings, appreciation, and emotions that often remain unspoken. The activity encouraged students to value their mothers’ unconditional love and strengthened emotional bonding through thoughtful written expression.

Class VIII – Mom Appreciation Wall

Students of Class VIII creatively prepared a Mom Appreciation Wall filled with appreciation notes, messages, drawings, and thoughtful quotes dedicated to mothers. The wall beautifully reflected the students’ affection, gratitude, and respect for their mothers and added warmth to the celebration.

All the activities were conducted successfully with active participation and enthusiasm from the students under the guidance of the respective class teachers.

Dyal Singh Public School, DSC Karnal celebrated Mother’s Day on 7 May 2026 with great joy and enthusiasm. A Card-Making Activity was organised for the students of Grades 1 and 2 to express their love and gratitude towards their mothers.

The students actively participated and created beautiful and colourful greeting cards using coloured sheets, pom-poms, crayons and other decorative materials. Their creativity and imagination were clearly visible in their handmade cards, each reflecting their affection for their mothers.

The activity not only enhanced their artistic skills but also helped them understand the importance of loving, respecting, and appreciating their mothers. The celebration was a joyful and memorable experience for all.

Mother’s Day Celebration

Dyal Singh Public School, DSC celebrated Mother’s Day with great joy and enthusiasm on 7th May 2026.

Special activities were organised for Classes 3, 4, and 5 to help students express their love and gratitude towards their mothers through creativity and thoughtful efforts.

Class 3 students performed a Card Making Activity where they designed colourful and beautiful greeting cards for their mothers using flowers, hearts, stickers, and creative messages. The students showcased their imagination and expressed heartfelt emotions through their handmade cards.

Class 4 students took part in the Best Out of Waste Activity. Using beads and waste materials, they created attractive gifts and decorative items for their mothers.

Class 5 students participated in the Honour with Crown Activity. They designed and decorated beautiful crowns for their mothers using colourful paper, glitter, stickers, and decorative items. The crowns symbolised love, respect, and appreciation for mothers.

The activities filled the school with happiness, creativity, and excitement. Students enthusiastically participated and made wonderful creations with love and care. The celebration beautifully highlighted the importance of mothers in our lives and made the day memorable for everyone.

World Asthma Day was observed on 5 May 2026 at Dyal Singh Public School, DSC, Karnal. The awareness session was conducted by Dr. Sahil, an alumnus of the school.
Dr. Sahil was warmly welcomed by Mrs. Sushma Devgun, Principal of DSPS, DSC, who presented him with a plant as a token of appreciation.
The session was attended by the students of Classes VIII and IX. Dr. Sahil shared valuable information about Asthma, a chronic respiratory condition that causes inflammation and narrowing of the airways. He explained that this can lead to symptoms such as wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath.
He further explained that asthma can be triggered by factors such as air pollution, dust, smoke, pollen, and respiratory infections. Dr. Sahil also discussed the different levels of asthma severity and emphasized the importance of early diagnosis, proper medication, and avoiding triggers.
Students were also guided on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including regular exercise and keeping the environment clean to support better respiratory health.
The session was informative and interactive, encouraging students to become more aware and responsible about their health.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Headmistress Ms. Priya Kapoor, who expressed gratitude to Dr. Sahil on behalf of the Dyal family for his valuable guidance.

*Cervical Vaccine Program*

A Cervical Vaccine Awareness and Vaccination Program was successfully conducted in the Dyal Singh Public School,Main Branch on 2.04.2026 with the objective of spreading awareness about cervical cancer prevention and promoting the importance of vaccination among students and parents.

The program was organized in collaboration with healthcare professionals Dr Neeru Sharma SMO URBAN MEDICAL OFFICER and Dr Vidhi,Dr Puneet who provided valuable guidance regarding the benefits and safety of the cervical vaccine.

The session began with an informative talk highlighting the causes, symptoms, and preventive measures of cervical cancer. Special emphasis was laid on the role of the HPV vaccine in protecting girls from future health risks. The medical team from Anganbari Ms Kalpana and Ms Rajni also addressed common doubts and concerns of parents and students.

Following the awareness session, eligible students were vaccinated with the consent of their parents under proper medical supervision.

Necessary precautions and post-vaccination guidance were also shared.

The program was highly beneficial and received a positive response from parents, students, and staff members. It was an important step towards ensuring better health and creating awareness about preventive healthcare among young girls.
