A recognition of the future we are building. 🏆

Vijaybhoomi University has been honoured as “The Most Upcoming University” at the 10th ASSOCHAM EduMeet & Excellence Awards 2026, held in Kolkata.

The title carries particular significance for us. It recognises not only our progress as an emerging institution, but also the relevance of the educational philosophy on which Vijaybhoomi University was founded.

As India’s first Liberal Professional University, we bring liberal education and professional learning together to develop individuals who can think independently, work across disciplines and respond meaningfully to the changing needs of industry, society and the global economy.

This recognition by ASSOCHAM reinforces our belief that higher education must move beyond conventional boundaries to prepare future-ready professionals, responsible leaders and changemakers.

We are honoured to be recognised as the “Emerging University of the Year” at the prestigious BW Businessworld Top Education Brands Awards 2026.

This distinction celebrates our commitment to reimagining higher education through innovation, academic excellence, industry relevance and learning experiences designed for the future. The evaluation process offered us an opportunity to demonstrate how Vijaybhoomi University is responding to the changing expectations of learners and the professional world through progressive educational practices.

35 school leaders. One graduating cohort. A new alumni community begins.

The School Leadership Program 2026, organised by JAGSoM - Jagdish Sheth School of Management, Vijaybhoomi University, in collaboration with EducationWorld - The Human Development Magazine, concluded with a formal Graduation Ceremony at Vijaybhoomi University.

Over two intensive days, the program addressed the often-unattended learning needs of school leaders by providing a structured platform to strengthen capabilities across key dimensions of institutional leadership, from strategy, finance and governance to talent, institutional growth, student readiness and data-driven decision-making.

The program culminated in an intensive Case Study Discussion, where participants applied their learning to real institutional challenges. Their performance formed the basis of the academic assessment and recognition at graduation.

The cohort recorded strong academic outcomes:
🏅 18 graduated with Distinction
🎓 8 graduated with First Class

Each graduate was awarded a Certificate of Merit from JAGSoM, an AACSB-accredited institution, along with Executive Education Credits, marking the successful completion of the program.

The Graduation Ceremony was graced by Lt Gen Surendra Kulkarni, Former Director, Mayo College, Ajmer, as Chief Guest, alongside Dr. Ravikesh Srivastava, Vice Chancellor, Vijaybhoomi University, Dr Suneel Gupta, Registrar, Vijaybhoomi University, faculty members and programme speakers.

Day One wasn’t about sitting through sessions. It was about rethinking how schools are led.

Day One of Leadership Bootcamp 2026 brought school leaders together at Vijaybhoomi University for conversations that went far beyond academics.

From a ceremonial beginning and the opening keynote on future-ready schools to discussions on financial sustainability, preparing students for careers, school growth and reputation — the day was built around the real decisions leaders face while shaping institutions.

And some of the most valuable moments happened between sessions: new perspectives, shared challenges and conversations among leaders who are building the next generation of schools.

Our MBA 2026 cohort had the privilege of learning from Dr. A. Parasuraman, Pro-Chancellor (Academics), Vijaybhoomi University, internationally acclaimed scholar, one of the world’s most influential contributors to management research, and Emeritus Professor of Marketing, University of Miami, along with Dr. Ravikesh Srivastava, Vice Chancellor, Vijaybhoomi University.
