Enactus organized an AI learning session for children from rural communities.

The entire session was conducted in Marathi to ensure every child could understand and connect with the topic. We introduced them to AI basics, showed how ChatGPT can generate images, and explained how AI can be a helpful tool for their studies, creativity, and future opportunities.

A special highlight of the event was giving many children their first-ever experience using a laptop. Their eyes lit up with curiosity as they typed, clicked, and saw AI create images from just their words. For most of them, this was the first step into the digital world.

The session not only sparked excitement but also opened their minds to new possibilities. Seeing how eager they were to learn and how beneficial they found AI for understanding concepts and expressing ideas made the event a huge success.

Empowering the Advanced Manufacturing Skills with AI

We are thrilled to announce the successful signing of an MoU between Tata IIS and Universal Ai University, formalizing our partnership as AI Partners to drive AI fluency across both industry and academia.

A special note of gratitude to Ms. Nidhi Goyal, COO of Tata IIS, Mr. Sandeep Dorle and Mr. Sourav Dasgupta for visiting our campus to mark this momentous occasion.

This strategic partnership is set to bridge the gap between Advanced Manufacturing Skills and the applications of AI through several key initiatives:

Professional Skilling Programs (8–40 Hours): Tailored AI upskilling programs across functional areas like Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Marketing, and Finance, facilitated by UAi and Univitt.

Faculty Development Programs (FDP): Specialized AI upskilling initiatives designed to empower educators with cutting-edge tools and knowledge.

Industry Minor Programs (IMP): Specialized electives for UAi students focusing on Electric Vehicles (EV), Industrial Robotics (IR), and Industrial Additive Manufacturing (AM).

Academic Internship Programs (AIP): Short-term, project-based immersion programs offering hands-on industry exposure for both faculty and students.

What happens when student ideas meet real industry perspective?

At the UAi Entrepreneurship Conclave, organised by the UAi Entrepreneurship Center of Excellence in collaboration with Entrepreneur’s Arch, Mumbai, aspiring entrepreneurs pitched startup ideas across SpaceTech, AgriTech, AI and emerging business sectors to founders, industry experts and business leaders.

The conversations went beyond the pitch.
Bhavik Jain, Founder of Entrepreneur’s Arch, appreciated the entrepreneurial energy on campus and the distinctive learning environment at UAi.
