Last day we conducted an awareness program to educate our students, parents and community members that how dangerous malaria can be, and more importantly, how we can prevent it. With the guidance of the medical staff from Latu Hospital, we have taken several preventive steps during today’s session:

1. Demonstrated how to use mosquito nets and repellents.
2. Explained how stagnant water should be removed from our surroundings.
3. Distributed leaflets and pamphlets for home awareness.
4. Educated students on personal hygiene and cleanliness.
5. Promised to keep our school and local area clean to stop mosquito breeding.
6. To wear full sleeves shirt
7. Sleeping under mosquito nets
8.Using mosquito repellents
9. One day dry day in a week
Let’s remember — Prevention is better than cure. Even small efforts from each of us can save many lives. So let us all become ambassadors of health and spread this message to our homes and neighborhoods.
