Darul Uloom Imamganj Sheikh Ahmed Ali Rah

Darul Uloom Imamganj Sheikh Ahmed Ali Rah Imamganj Alia Madrassa was established in 1942. This Madrassa was located near the international border between Bangladesh and India.

This Islamic educational center was made possible by the donations given from the villages of Sayed Pur, Sandalpur, Kaknimara, Tilaiya, Maijgram, Bagarsangan and Gugrakuna. Due to the proximity of the Madrassa to the border, it was better to relocate it. In June 2017, the land for the new Madrassa was donated by Mohamed Salam, son of the late Haji-Wajid Ali from Sayed Pur. The new location of the

Madrassa is in Sayed Pur. The Madrassa was renamed Darul Uloom Imamganj Sheikh Ahmed Ali Rah, established on July 12, 2017. We here at Darul Uloom Imamganj hope to be the largest Islamic educational center for the children of Assam, India. The Madrassa committee consists of seven members: lifelong Mohtamim Sheikh Yahya Saheb from Darul Uloom Banskandi, lifelong Advisor Mohamed Salam, President Haji Mudaris Ali, Vice President Ayas Ali, Secretary Maulana Yasin, Assistant Secretary Abdul Kalam and Naeeb A Mohtamim Noor Uddin Jahangir. There are also 16 other key members that help to maintain the Madrassa. With the aide of donations from nearby villages, we hope to give our children the best Islamic education.

DONATIONS NEEDED!!!

A new masjid construction has started at Darul Uloom Imamganj. We plan to make this the biggest masjid in Barak Valley at 112 by 78 ft with two floors. This will fit 1200 people per floor when praying.
