Today on the occasion of International Yoga Day, Yoga Day was celebrated at Swami Vivekananda English School in Nivia. Today 21st June, I congratulate everyone on International Yoga Day and wish everyone good physical and mental health.
While addressing the United Nations on September 27, 2014, Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi proposed to declare June 21 as the International Day of Yoga. In the same year, on December 11, the United Nations General Assembly declared June 21 as the International Day of Yoga.
Yoga is a unique form of physical and mental exercise and spiritual and social practice originating in ancient India. Its main purpose is to provide physical and mental health of people.
People all over the world, including India, observe International Yoga Day today. Nivia Swami Vivekananda English School was attended by Mr. Shyamnarine Yadav Sir,(Founder of this school), Vice Principal of this school Mr. Alok Bhattacharya. and the parents of the students of this school and the honorable teachers and others.
