This month we have started our project in Al-Mehdi Public School, in collaboration with . It's been an engaging experience going through assessments with students to figure out their appropriate levels.
We are taking baby steps with the students with fun read alouds to get them interested and softly set up the norms for the upcoming exciting sessions.
Had a lot of fun engaging with children over 2 of our favorite stories, "Shringeri Srinivas's Cow Must Moo" and "Only Fools go to School". During the sessions, the sheer drive of the students to learn new words really came as an encouraging surprise. Excited to see how our work in Al-Mehdi unfolds ahead!
