Guidance: Respected Principal Sir, Mr. Mukund Ingle ✨️

A PMUN Introduction Session was conducted by Ms. Dishika Thantharatey, PMUN Coordinator, under the guidance of Respected Principal Sir, Mr. Mukund Ingle. The session aimed to familiarise students with the concept, purpose and functioning of Podar Model United Nations (PMUN) and to motivate them to participate with confidence and enthusiasm.✨️

During the session, students were introduced to the Model United Nations format, the role of delegates, the importance of research, public speaking, diplomacy, negotiation and teamwork. Students were also guided on how to understand their assigned country, research the agenda, prepare their position papers and effectively participate in committee proceedings.✨️

The four committees and their respective Chair and Vice-Chair teams were introduced:✨️

UN Human Rights Council: Chair – Spandan Ramteke | Vice-Chair – Purvi Chichmalkar

The session provided students with clarity about the expectations and responsibilities of a PMUN delegate and encouraged them to approach the conference with thorough preparation, confidence, discipline and diplomatic conduct.✨️

The orientation concluded with an emphasis on researching deeply, speaking confidently, listening actively and working collaboratively to develop meaningful solutions to global issues.✨️
