World Radio Day Proclaimed in 2011 by the Member States of UNESCO and adopted by the United Nations General Assembly (A/RES/67/124) in 2012 as an International Day, February 13 became World Radio Day (WRD). Radio is a powerful medium for celebrating humanity in all its diversity and constitutes a platform for democratic discourse.

Sarojini Naidu was an Indian political activist and poet who served as the first Governor of the United Provinces after India's independence. She played an important role in the Indian independence movement against the British Raj. She was the first Indian woman to be president of the Indian National Congress and appointed governor of a state.

Data Privacy Day (known in Europe as Data Protection Day) is an international event that occurs every year on 28 January. The purpose of Data Privacy Day is to raise awareness and promote privacy and data protection best practices.

The International Holocaust Remembrance Day is an international memorial day on 27 January that commemorates the victims of the Holocaust, which resulted in the genocide of one-third of the Jewish people, along with countless members of other minorities by N**i Germany between 1933 and 1945, an attempt to implement its "final solution" to the Jewish question. 27 January was chosen to commemorate the date when the Auschwitz concentration camp was liberated by the Red Army in 1945.

26th January 1950 was the day when the Constitution of India came into force. This was the day when India turned to a republic country after the British colonial rule of 300 years. Since then we commemorate the day by celebrating the Republic Day on 26th January every year.

In order to encourage more young voters to take part in the political process, Government of India has decided to celebrate January 25 every year as "National Voters' Day". It has been started from 25 January 2011 to mark the foundation day of Election Commission of India.

The National Girl Child Day is celebrated in India on 24th January every year. It was introduced by the Ministry of Women and Child Development in the year 2008 to create awareness of gender-based discrimination, and inequality of girl children and to save girl children.

Kisan Diwas (Farmer’s Day)
National Farmer's Day, or Kisan Diwas 2022: It is celebrated annually on December 23 to mark the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh. He was the fifth Prime Minister of India and is remembered for the contributions he made toward the upliftment of farmers across the country.

National Mathematics Day
National Mathematics Day is celebrated on December 22 every year to mark the birth anniversary of legendary Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. The celebrations aim at spreading awareness about the importance of mathematics and the contributions made by Srinivasa Ramanujan in the field of mathematics.

International Mountain Day is celebrated annually on 11 December to create awareness about the importance of mountains to life, to highlight the opportunities and constraints in mountain development, and to build alliances that will bring positive change to mountain peoples and environments around the world.

UNICEF Foundation Day 2023 is observed on 11th December. UNICEF stands for United Nations International Children Emergency Fund. UNICEF was started in 1946 to provide emergency food and healthcare to children and mothers in countries that had been devastated by World War II.
