Proud moment at Government College of Engineering, Karad! We recently celebrated the grand reveal of the IJTE Special Journal Publication, featuring selected research papers from ICCETAC-2025.
We had the privilege of serving as the General Chair Coordinator of the conference and as a member of the Editorial Team for this prestigious international initiative.
Jointly organized by the Department of Information Technology and Master of Computer Application (GCE Karad), in collaboration with Government College of Engineering, Kolhapur, the AICTE ATAL-VAANI sponsored International Conference on “Cutting Edge Technologies in Advanced Computing (ICCETAC-2025)” was successfully held on November 14–15, 2025.
Key Highlights:
51 research papers presented at the conference have been officially published in the Indian Journal of Technical Education (IJTE)—a highly reputed, UGC-CARE listed journal associated with the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).
The unveiling ceremony marks a significant milestone in our institute’s ongoing journey toward academic and research excellence.
Coordinating with authors, reviewers, academicians, and the organizing committee throughout this end-to-end publication journey was a truly enriching experience.

Charging the future!
We successfully wrapped up a high-impact 2-Day Physical Training on EV Technology at GCE Karad in collaboration with L&T EduTech.
Our SY & TY B.Tech students dived deep into:
• Embedded Systems: Hands-on STM32 coding, sensor interfacing, and DC motor control with Dr. P. Rangarajan.
• Mechanical Design: FEA, fatigue, and modal analysis for BEVs/FCEVs with Dr. S. M. Mullaikodai.
A huge congratulations to our previous batch's Top 10 performers and Top 3 achievers who were felicitated during the event!

National Science Day 2026: Science Meets Soul!
Government College of Engineering, Karad, celebrated National Science Day with a massive showcase of innovation! From groundbreaking first-year projects to wisdom that goes beyond the classroom, the energy was electric.

Government Engineering College, Karad achieve impressive success at the National BAJA SAE Event
Students of Government Engineering College, Karad have done a remarkable job in the national level competition H-BAJA SAE INDIA 2026 (Hydrogen) organized in Indore and have brought laurels to the college.
Of H-BAJA (Hydrogen BAJA) is a prestigious national competition based on the design, manufacturing, testing and operation of hydrogen fueled road vehicles.
22 students of the college have participated in this competition and have performed excellently in various technical and management groups.
The team won the third position (AIR 3) and a cash prize of ₹ 30,000/-.
They have also won the All India First Position (AIR 1) in both the Manufacturing Excellence and Sledge Pull categories, winning cash prizes of ₹ 15,000/- and ₹ 20,000/- respectively
In addition, they have won the following categories: Sales (AIR 3), Validation (AIR 3), Design (AIR 4), Acceleration (AIR 5), and Endurance (AIR 5) categories.
The students were guided by Prof. Gharge and Prof. Teltumde for this competition. They also received support from Prof. Khandagale and Mr. Koli. The Chairman of the Administrative Board of the institution, Mr. Moreshwar Bhalsingh, Principal Dr. Sanjeev Wagh, Vice Principal Prof. S. K. Patil congratulated all the students on this success.
