Teej Celebration 🙌🏻🌸

At M.G.N. Public School, Kapurthala, the Kindergarten section was transformed into a vibrant "Punjab's Village”.🎉🌾

The atmosphere was full of Punjabi culture and colors. 💃

The tiny tots enjoyed beautiful stalls of Phulkari, Parandas, and Mehndi. 💅✨

There was also a special dancing area where kids and Faculty members danced to dhol beats, and a lovely mirror-work village-like structure was made as the main attraction. 🪞

Teachers explained to the students the importance and significance of Teej festival - about traditions, togetherness, and the beauty of Punjabi heritage. 🧿😊

The entire vibe was so colorful, joyful and full of festive energy! 💖

It was a day of learning, fun, and cultural pride for our little ones. 🌼

🇮🇳 Celebrating the Spirit of Freedom – 80th Independence Day 🇮🇳

MGN Public School, Kapurthala joyfully celebrated the 80th Independence Day with immense pride, enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The campus gleamed in the colours of the tricolour as students and staff came together for a meaningful celebration reflecting unity, respect and love for the nation.

The celebration commenced with seeking blessings for the school and the nation. Principal Mrs. Parwinder Kaur Walia proudly hoisted the National Flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, as the entire school stood together in respect and honour.

The cultural programme beautifully showcased the talent and patriotic fervour of our students. They presented a soulful group song and patriotic songs, heartfelt poems and inspiring speeches, along with an elegant Kathak performance and a vibrant Giddha performance that filled the atmosphere with joy and enthusiasm.

Adding to the patriotic spirit, the NCC cadets and School Band of MGN Public School proudly participated in the Independence Day celebrations at Guru Nanak Stadium, Kapurthala, representing the school with discipline, pride and dedication. 🇮🇳

The celebrations also witnessed a reaffirmation of our commitment to the nation, as everyone took the pledge to remain loyal and faithful to our country and uphold the values of democracy, equality and justice.

In her inspiring message, Principal Mrs. Parwinder Kaur Walia congratulated the felicitation awardees and reminded everyone that freedom comes with responsibility. She encouraged students to grow into curious, compassionate and courageous citizens, leading by example, nurturing moral values, serving the community and contributing towards a peaceful, progressive and stronger India.

Warm congratulations to Charuvrat Bains, Kirat Kamal Kaur, Vikram, Mr. Rajinder Singh, Mr. Pandav Rai and Mrs. Kanwalpreet Kaur on being felicitated by the DC, Kapurthala. Their recognition is a proud moment for the entire MGN family. 👏🇮🇳

The celebration was a beautiful reminder that the true spirit of independence lies in responsibility, unity, integrity and service to the nation.

The celebration concluded with the rendition of “Vande Mataram”, leaving everyone with a deep sense of pride and gratitude.

Colour Week at MGNPS 🌈

It was such a fun-filled week at M.G.N. Public School, Kapurthala! 🌸

The main motive was to help children understand and identify colors such as Red, Blue, Green & Yellow. 🎨

Each day was dedicated to one colour. Teachers came dressed in that colour and students of the Nursery classes followed too. 👩‍🏫😇

Different activities were planned to make learning playful and memorable.

This creative way made kids enjoy while learning the importance of colours . 🧿

🇮🇳 Hindi Poem Recitation Competition 🇮🇳

To honour the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering spirit of our brave soldiers, the students of Grade V at MGN Public School, Kapurthala enthusiastically participated in a Hindi Poem Recitation Competition on the theme "Kargil Vijay Diwas."

Through their heartfelt poems and confident recitations, the young learners paid a touching tribute to the heroes of the Kargil War. Their expressions reflected deep patriotism, respect, and gratitude towards the Indian Armed Forces, inspiring everyone present with the true spirit of nationalism.

The activity not only enhanced the students' speaking and recitation skills but also strengthened their awareness of our nation's glorious history and the priceless sacrifices made by our soldiers.
