ਸਾਡੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਦਸ਼ਮੇਸ਼ ਅਕੈਡਮੀ ਦਾ 2014-15 ਬੈਚ ਦਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਸ. ਗੁਰਭੇਜ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਧੂ ਜੋ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਵਾਲਦਾਰ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਨਿਭਾਅ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅੱਜ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਹੋਈ ਤੇ ਸ. ਗੁਰਭੇਜ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਧੂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਭਰੇ ਤੋਹਫੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਅੱਗੇ ਦੁਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਬੱਚਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਅਫਸਰ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰੇ।

ਵਿਸਾਖੀ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਾਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਦਸ਼ਮੇਸ਼ ਅਕੈਡਮੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਖਮਨੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਠ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ । ਸਕੂਲ ਦੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀ ਕਲਾ ਦੀ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ l ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਸਵਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਉੱਚੀਆਂ ਸਫਲਤਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਮਹੱਤਵ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਅੱਜ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਹੋਈ, ਜਦ ਦਸ਼ਮੇਸ਼ ਅਕੈਡਮੀ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਹੋਣਹਾਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਸ. ਤਨਵੀਰਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਧੰਜੂ ਵਾਸੀ (ਪਿੰਡ ਮੇਵਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਾਲਾ) ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੇਟੇ ਵਾਰਿਸ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਾਲ ਸਕੂਲ ਆਏ। ਜੀ ਆਇਆਂ ਕਹਿਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਵਟਾਂਦਰੇ ਦੇ ਚੱਲਦਿਆਂ ਤਨਵੀਰਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਹੁਣ ਪੱਕੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਹੀ ਪਿੰਡ ਰਹਿਣ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਬਣਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਚਾਹ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਚੱਲਦਿਆਂ ਤਨਵੀਰਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਟਾਈਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਯਾਦਾਂ ਤਾਜਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਕੂਲ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਯਾਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਨਹੀ ਭੁਲਾ ਸਕਿਆ। ਅਖੀਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਤਨਵੀਰਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਰ ਵਾਰ ਸਕੂਲ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੇ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਸਹਿਤ ਵਿਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਸਾਡੀ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦਸ਼ਮੇਸ਼ ਅਕੈਡਮੀ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਸ. ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਿੰਡ ਗਿੱਦੜਪਿੰਡੀ (ਜੋ ਇਸ ਵਕਤ ਸਿਡਨੀ (ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ) ਵਿਖੇ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ) ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾ ਨਾਲ ਅਕੈਡਮੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਆਏ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਦਫਤਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਆਉਣ ਤੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਹੋਈ। ਚਾਹ ਪਾਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪੁਰਾਣੀਆਂ ਯਾਦਾਂ ਸਾਂਝੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਫੇਰ ਆਉਣ ਦੇ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਦਾਇਗੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
