🎨 Over the past two weeks, our Grade 8 students at Corpus Christi School have been exploring the impact of addictions through a creative poster activity! 🎭 Split into 5 groups, each focused on a different topic—Gaming, Social Media, Smoking, Drugs, and Junk Food addictions. Students presented their posters and shared their insights in class. The science behind addiction, including how dopamine plays a role and why withdrawal symptoms make it so hard to quit, was explained. The key takeaway? It’s crucial to say NO to unhealthy habits early on to avoid the addiction trap! 🚫💡
