KSS BADMINTON MEET 2026-27- DAY 1 INAUGURAL CEREMONY

The much-awaited KSS Badminton Meet commenced today with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship.

The inaugural ceremony began with the felicitation of our respected Principal Dr. Reeta Saxena and honourable Chairman Sir Mr. J.P. Sharma.

The meet was declared open in a unique and energetic way, with the Chairman sir and Principal ma’am marking the opening by playing a symbolic smash
🏸-🏸each taking a chance on the court.
The gesture was cheered by all students and set a spirited tone for the tournament.

Following the inauguration, the matches proceeded as per schedule for the participating teams. The players displayed great zeal and sportsmanship.

The CBSE Cluster Under 14, 17 & 19 Boys & Girls Badminton Tournament 2026-27 was held at Lucknow from 18th to 21st August 2026. The tournament was organized and conducted by the Lucknow District Badminton Association.

Our students showcased outstanding performance and brought laurels to the school.

Achievements:

1. Under-17 Boys Category:
The team secured 3rd Position (Bronze Medal) out of 256 teams participating in the cluster.
Team Members:
a) Anirudh Gaur - Class 11th
b) Shreshth Shukla - Class 12th
c) Kartik Gupta - Class 10th
d) Sanidhya Rohira - Class 12th

2. Under-19 Boys Category:
The team emerged as Champions, securing 1st Position (Gold Medal) out of 128 teams.

a) Mohd. Yushuf Alam - Class 12th
b) Aarav Sharma - Class 11th
c) Harsh Tiwari - Class 12th
d) Devansh Yadav - Class 8th

With this remarkable victory, all players of the Under-19 Boys Team have been selected for the CBSE National Badminton Tournament 2026.

Scholar Mission school conducted a Health Care and an Eductional Workshop in collaboration with Divine Life Society, Kanpur. For students of classes 1-8. Experts spoke about hygiene, charcater , mental well -being , healthy eating, importance of water, and physical activity. The session encouraged children to make small daily choices that lead to a big difference in their health and well-being.

The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with great zeal and patriotic fervor in our school.

The ceremony began with the hoisting of the National Flag by our respected Chairman, Mr. Jai Prakash Sharma and Ms. Neha Goel ( Vice Chairperson) followed by the singing of the National Anthem.

The event featured patriotic songs, dance performances and speeches, highlighting the sacrifices of freedom fighters. Prior the day various class activities were conducted on the theme Independence day.

The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets. The event instilled a spirit of patriotism and national pride among all students.

A seminar was conducted by Worldedx for the students of our school.
The session was organized to guide students about emerging career options and the importance of digital skills and higher education in abroad. The speaker discussed topics such as future job trends, importance of communication, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and how to prepare for global opportunities. The session was interactive, with a Q&A round where students clarified their doubts regarding career paths and skill development.
Students found the webinar informative and motivating.
