Prastuti-Your Case Your Solution We are interested in your original approach and solution to the various problems that you have faced. Were you involved with a team or worked on it on your own?

Department of Industrial and Management Engineering, M.Tech Program of IIT Kanpur, presents “PRASTUTI-Your Case…Your Solution”, under the banner of PRABANDHAN’15, the annual management conclave of IIT Kanpur. It can be the ones you encountered on your internships, or during your work experience, or even at your institution. It may be something completely novel, truly unique – something completely

different and something nobody ever thought about! Tell us how you put your ideas into action and arrived at an optimum solution. What potential obstacles you have had to overcome? Present your problem solving skills in a power point presentation.

Guidelines for PPT

1. You can change your solution and you need to submit the final ppt by 30th September at 11:59:59 PM.

2. The event will start at 1:30 PM on 1st October. Venue for the same is IME Dept, IIT Kanpur.

3. You will be given 7 minutes to present, and 3 min of Q&A.(total 10 minutes)

4.You will be evaluated on parameters like originality, innovativeness, viability of solution, time discipline, team participation etc.

5.The judges' decision is final and binding, and will be announced after the event.

6.You have to report 15 minutes prior to the start time of event. It is compulsory for all the teams to be present at the venue during the event, irrespective of their presentation order. Presentation order will be disclosed on the day of event.
