Krishna Institute of Technology in collaboration with *TECH TITANS CLUB* of CSE Department organized a quiz competition *BUZZ BLITZ* for the students of CSE Department on 12th June, 2024.
Buzz Blitz is a technical quiz based on programming in C and fundamentals of computers.

It was a buzzer based quiz where two teams competed in knock-out rounds and winners of knock-out rounds finally clashed for the winning title.
The competition was extremely thrilling to watch as students were geared up for giving their best performance.

The team *Quiz squad* was the winner of buzz blitz and got the position after defeating the runner-up team *Brainiac Brigade* 🎉🏆

We would like to congratulate all the winners for their outstanding performance.
Congratulations to the Tech Titans Club for the successful ex*****on of the event. 👏👏

In conclusion, Authorities held a formal ceremony to recognize the students' achievements.

Krishna Institute of Technology in collaboration with *M CUBE CLUB* of MBA Department organized a visit to an *OLD AGE HOME* for the students MBA and B.Tech as a part of their Social Work Activity on 8th June, 2024.

The club members and the student volunteers gathered the funding for the charity from the students, faculties and authorities of the college. Students raised a generous amount of funds which was suitable enough to provide and fulfill the basic needs of all the old age people living under the premises.

The visit was both a learning as well as an emotional experience for all the students as they witnessed a part of society where they saw the people who were abandoned by their loved ones and are struggling to stay in an old age home.
Students served lunch, fruits, juices and snacks etc and spent some quality time with the residents of the old age home and learned about their life experiences and their struggles living a life away from their homes.
The heart touching stories of the old people were enough to melt anyone's heart.

We would like to thank our Director Administration Mr. Saubhagya Mehrotra sir for his unwavering support and guidance in making this visit an unforgettable experience for our students.

The farewell party filled with ramp, music, dance, singing, food and unlimited fun made this an unforgettable night for our final year students as they witnessed a roller coaster ride of emotions seeing their college journey in a tribute video made by their beloved juniors.

Krishna Institute of Technology is proud to share that The *M Cube Club* of our MBA Department successfully organised a *NUKKAD NATAK* event based on the theme of "Face of the Journalism in Today's World " by the students of MBA 1st Year and 2nd Year on 30th May, 2024.

The event was a huge hit and a treat to witness live as the efforts and creativity poured into the script writing and acting left a mark on the stage and in the minds of the audience.

Team Stage Strivers (MBA 1st Year) won the competition as they portrayed a positive side of today's journalism through a well written storyline and acting.

Whereas, Team Nukkad Ninjas (MBA 2nd Year) secured a second position with their negative portrayal of hard hitting facts about today's media.

The College of Nursing at KRISHNA INSTITUTE OF NURSING SCIENCE AND RESEARCH KANPUR, recently organized an awareness program on "World No To***co Day" with the theme of "Protecting children from to***co industry interference". The event took place on the 31st of May 2024 from 10 am to 1.00 pm at Additanium-1.

The program was organized by the students of B.Sc. Nursing (2nd semester) and ANM (2nd year). The students gave a detailed description of the harmful effects of to***co through a PowerPoint presentation. They also performed a street play to showcase the detrimental effects of to***co consumption. Ankit Shivhare, a faculty member, gave an impressive speech explaining the changes that occur in the body due to to***co consumption.

The highlight of the event was the presence of Principal Girja Sharma, who explained the significance of World No To***co Day in her speech. She emphasized the importance of raising awareness about the dangers of to***co and protecting children from the influence of the to***co industry.

Mr. Amit Walia, the director of Krishna Institute of Nursing Science and Research, Kanpur, along with the vice principal, Mr. Dinesh Kinchi, and HODs and other faculty members, were also present at the event. Their support and presence added to the success of the awareness program.

Krishna Institute of Nursing Science and Research (KINSR), Kanpur, organized a Health Awareness Camp at the Primary School in Sekhupur, Maitha, Kanpur Dehat. The event was conducted with the support of Mrs. Kiran Devi, Pradhan of the Gram Panchayat, Sekhupur. The aim of the camp was to promote health awareness among the students and the local community.
Basic health check-ups were conducted for the students, including measuring height, weight, and BMI, as well as screening for common ailments and providing basic first aid. Mrs. Priya Pal, faculty of KINSR, gave an informative session on hygiene practices, the importance of a balanced diet, and preventive measures for common illnesses. Demonstrations on proper hand washing techniques and oral hygiene were conducted by GNM 3rd-year students.
Mr. Amit Dubey, Placement Officer of KINSR, interacted with the students and addressed their queries regarding health and well-being. Fun and engaging activities were organized to help children understand health concepts better. Parents and community members were encouraged to participate in the camp, and Mrs. Kiran Devi emphasized the importance of regular health check-ups and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
The Health Awareness Camp was well-received by 150 beneficiaries. the students, parents, and local community. The camp not only provided essential health services but also educated the participants on maintaining good health and hygiene practices. The involvement of Mrs. Kiran Devi and the active participation of KINSR representatives and students contributed significantly to the success of the event.
The Health Awareness Camp at Primary School, Sekhupur, Maitha, Kanpur Dehat, organized by Krishna Institute of Nursing Science and Research, was a successful initiative that highlighted the importance of health education and preventive care. On the 23rd of May, 2024, KRISHNA INSTITUTE OF NURSING SCIENCE & RESEARCH (KINSR), Kanpur, in collaboration with the Gram Pradhan of Village Tajpur, Mr. Ashok Rawat, organized a health awareness camp. The event aimed to enhance the health and wellness knowledge of the villagers and provide basic health services.
Key personnel involved were Ms. Neha Pal, who led the educational sessions and coordinated the health check-ups, bringing her expertise and engaging teaching methods to the villagers. Mr. Akhilesh Yadav managed the logistical aspects of the camp and facilitated smooth communication between the KINSR team and the villagers. The GNM 3rd Year students actively participated in conducting health check-ups, distributing educational materials, and assisting in workshops, gaining practical experience and contributing significantly to the camp's success.
The health awareness camp was well-received by more then 150 villagers, with many expressing gratitude for the valuable information and services provided. The initiative not only improved the health awareness of the participants but also fostered a sense of community and collaboration between KINSR and Village Tajpur.

The key note speaker for the event Maj. Neha Ghai (Veteran) is a leadership and skills trainer and she also holds a keen interest in shaping yound minds and enriching their decision making abilities.
The various mental models shared by her during the session and how they affect our mental abilities and our stress dealing mechanism which ultimately lead to a strong decision making was discussed throughout the session which eventually made it highly interactive and fruitful.

On 15/05/2024, students from the 5th semester of B.Sc. Nursing at KRISHNA INSTITUTE OF NURSING SCIENCE AND RESEARCH , KANPUR, visited ALIMCO, organized by Mr. Ashish Singh, Senior Manager Admin at *Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India.* They were accompanied by Mr. Hariom Gaur, Assistant Professor. The visit aimed to provide practical insights into assistive device manufacturing and ALIMCO's role in rehabilitating individuals with disabilities.

The students were then taken on a guided tour of the manufacturing units, observing the production processes of various assistive devices. During an interactive session, they asked questions about materials, quality control, and technological advancements, receiving detailed answers from Mr. Ashish Singh and other senior officials.

Demonstrations of different products showcased their functionality and usability, with students interacting with the devices to understand their practical applications. A discussion highlighted the role of nurses and healthcare professionals in the rehabilitation of individuals using assistive devices. Mr. Hariom Gaur stressed the importance of compassionate care and proper training in handling these devices.

The seminar commenced with a warm welcome by Pallavi Sachan, Post Graduate Educator from the Department of Child Health Nursing. The event was inaugurated with a soulful prayer song, Saraswati Vandana, followed by a ceremonial lamp lighting. Our Vice-Principal, Prof. Dinesh Khinchi, extended a formal welcome to our esteemed guest speaker, Prof. H.C.L. *Final Report on International Nurses Day Celebration at KRISHNA INSTITUTE OF NURSING SCIENCE & RESEARCH*

*Date: 11th May 2024*

Today, Krishna Institute of Nursing Science & Research celebrated International Nurses Day, culminating a week-long series of events dedicated to honoring the dedication and contributions of nurses globally.

The day began with a poignant gathering where students and faculty assembled in front of the college for a candle lighting ceremony and the recitation of the nursing oath, guided by the Principal, Prof. Girija Sharma. This ceremony symbolized our commitment to upholding the values of nursing excellence and compassionate care. Following this, a cake-cutting ceremony fostered unity and camaraderie among attendees.

Subsequently, refreshments were distributed, providing an opportunity for students and faculty to bond and reflect on the significance of the nursing profession. The day continued with a speech competition, interspersed with engaging tablos and skits, enhancing the celebratory atmosphere.

Throughout the week, the institute organized various events, including a Rangoli Competition on 7th May, a Poster Competition on 8th May, a Tablo presentation on 9th May, and a Salad Decoration and Craft with Waste activity on 10th May. These events showcased the creativity and dedication of our students in expressing the theme of International Nurses Week - "Our Nurses: Our Future."

In addition to expressing gratitude to the Director, Mr. Amit Walia, Principal, Prof. Girija Sharma, Vice-Principal, Prof. Dinesh Khinchi. To continue the gratitude Mr. Shyam Nagar, HOD MHN, and Mr. Hari Om, HOD MSN were key instrumentalists in organizing the events. The primary objective of this club is to foster technical and analytical skills among our students.
Our HOD CSE, Mr. Manish Chaudhary, shared the vision and goals of the club, emphasizing the various activities and competitions that will be organized under its umbrella. These initiatives aim to provide our students with a platform to enhance their knowledge and practical abilities in the field of computer science.

In addition, our Director of Administration, Mr. Saubhagya Mehrotra, took the stage to address the audience and filled the audience with motivation and provided an overview of the various significant events and activities planned for this club.
He also informed how important is to Foster Cocurricular development and how it plays a vital role in Life Ahead !!!

He also shared his vision and mission for the successful establishment of the club and encouraged students to participate with greater zeal and enthusiasm in the upcoming events.

The event will proceed with the next phase, which involves the election of Club Posts through candidate nominations. Additionally, the finalization of the Club Logo will be determined through a voting system. Students are invited to submit their designs, and the most outstanding ones will be presented for voting.
