Continuing the spirit of learning and professional excellence during International Nurses Day Celebration 2026, Krishna Institute of Nursing Science and Research, Kanpur, successfully organized a Guest Lecture on “Post-Operative Complications and Its Management” on Day 4 of the celebration series. 👩‍⚕️💙

The insightful session was held on 14th May 2026 at Auditorium-1, C Block, and was delivered by esteemed guest speaker Dr. Kaustubh Gupta, Associate Professor, Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar Government Medical College, Kannauj.

The programme commenced with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony in front of Goddess Saraswati by our respected dignitaries, creating an auspicious beginning to the event. ✨

Under the guidance of Director Mr. Amit Walia Sir, Principal Prof. Vineeta Das Ma’am, and Vice-Principal Prof. Dinesh Khinchi Sir, the session provided valuable insights into post-operative complications, patient care, and effective management strategies. Dr. Gupta highlighted the crucial role of nurses in monitoring vital signs, wound care, medication administration, early ambulation, and providing emotional support to patients and families. Real-life clinical examples and practical approaches made the lecture highly engaging and informative.

The event was gracefully anchored by Ritam Priya, B.Sc Nursing 4th Semester. The programme concluded with a memento presentation by Director Sir and Vice-Principal Sir, words of appreciation by Director Sir, a vote of thanks by Principal Ma’am, and a group photo session. 🌸

The lecture significantly enhanced the clinical knowledge, confidence, and professional competence of nursing students, inspiring them to deliver quality patient care with compassion and dedication. 🌟

🌸 Rangoli Competition
Students enthusiastically created vibrant and meaningful rangoli designs inspired by the Nurses Day 2026 theme under the supervision of Miss Garima (PG Tutor) and Mr. Sundaram (Nursing Tutor).

🎨 Wall Painting Activity
Students from various batches participated in a wall painting activity, beautifully portraying the compassion, dedication, teamwork, and service of nurses through creative artwork. The activity was supervised by Miss Pragati (Nursing Tutor) and Mr. Pranshu (Nursing Tutor).

Celebrating the spirit of compassion, dedication, and nursing excellence! 💙👩‍⚕️

Krishna Institute of Nursing Science & Research, Kanpur proudly celebrated Day 2 of International Nurses Day 2026 with great enthusiasm and heartfelt participation from students and faculty members. Guided by the inspiring theme — “Our Nurses. Our Future. Empowering Nurses, Saving Lives” — the event beautifully honoured the invaluable role of nurses in healthcare and society. ✨

The day commenced with the solemn Nightingale Pledge Ceremony, led by Vice-Principal Prof. Dinesh Khinchi Sir, where nursing students reaffirmed their commitment to ethical practice, compassionate care, and dedicated service to humanity.

Students also presented a powerful role play depicting the life of Florence Nightingale along with parental teaching for stress management, followed by a graceful thematic dance performance celebrating the journey and strength of nurses. The cultural performances, coordinated by Ms. Rini, were highly appreciated by all present. 🌸

A special cake-cutting ceremony added joy to the celebration, where Hon’ble Director Mr. Amit Walia Sir, Principal Prof. Vineeta Dass Ma’am, Vice-Principal Prof. Dinesh Khinchi Sir, faculty members, and student representatives came together to celebrate the noble profession of nursing. Sweets were distributed among all participants, spreading happiness and togetherness. 🎂✨

The celebration commemorated the formation of Gujarat state while promoting cultural awareness, unity, and community service among students.
