Workshop Announcement !!
We invite you to a hands-on Workshop on “Driving Semiconductor Growth through Digital Innovation”, jointly organised by Applied Materials India in partnership with the Advanced Centre for Materials Science (ACMS), IIT Kanpur, with academic support from the Department of Materials Science & Engineering (MSE).

📍 Venue: Computer Lab 204H, Diamond Jubilee Academic Complex (DJAC), IIT Kanpur
🔬 This workshop will showcase AppliedTwin, a cutting-edge digital twin platform for semiconductor equipment and processes. Participants will gain practical exposure to multiphysics software solutions ACE+ and TOPO+, and understand how real-world challenges in semiconductor manufacturing are addressed through digital innovation. Live examples will include Plasma Enhanced Chemical V***r Deposition (PECVD) and etching processes.
Workshop Highlights:
I. Overview of semiconductor fabrication processes
II. Introduction to Applied Materials and the AppliedTwin™ framework
III. Hands-on tutorial sessions on Thermal CVD, PECVD, and Etch (reactor-scale and feature-scale)
IV. Interaction with industry experts from Applied Materials India
V. Exposure to digital approaches driving next-generation semiconductor manufacturing
