🏸 1st Maa Jugal Devi Memorial Intramural Badminton Tournament 2026 – Closing Ceremony 🏸
The two-day tournament, held from 22–23 April 2026 at Jugal Devi Saraswati Vidya Mandir, concluded successfully with great enthusiasm and spirit.
Akshat Yadav (Boys) and Priyanshi Singh (Girls) emerged as the winners. 👏
The event was formally concluded by Principal Dr. Geeta Singh and Organizing Secretary Kamlesh Yadav. Students from various classes participated actively, demonstrating excellent sportsmanship, discipline, and a strong competitive spirit.
In her address, Principal Dr. Geeta Singh highlighted the importance of sports in the holistic development of students and encouraged them to continue participating actively.

The tournament, held on 22–23 April 2026 at Jugal Devi Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Deendayal Nagar, Kanpur, was inaugurated with great enthusiasm.

The Chief Guest, Mr. Premchand Gupta (Chairman), along with Principal Dr. Geeta Singh and Ms. Vijay Shri (Principal, Jugal Devi Shishu Mandir), inaugurated the event by offering floral tributes to Maa Jugal Devi and interacting with the players. The event was coordinated by Mr. Kamlesh Yadav.

The objective of this intramural competition is to promote sportsmanship, discipline, and a competitive spirit among students. Around 50 students from Class 6 participated with great enthusiasm.

👉 Boys’ Category Results:
Akshat Yadav, Akchhur, Anshuman Rawat, Aarav, Prithvi Gautam, Ahaan Kushwaha, Umang Kumar, and Akshansh won their matches and advanced to the quarter-finals.

👉 Girls’ Category Results:
Ananya, Priya Pal, Avni, Priyanshi Singh, and Aradhya showcased excellent performances and advanced to the next round.

The event was efficiently conducted by Class 12 students—Purva Singh, Anshika Mishra, Anshika Verma, and Anchal Sharma.

📌 Matches will continue tomorrow from 8:00 AM, and the closing ceremony will be held at 1:00 PM.
