Florets International School embraced the Diwali spirit by organizing a vibrant celebration for kindergarten students on 10th November who radiantly adorned themselves in traditional attire. The little ones soaked in the festival's cultural charm.
Additionally, an inter house Rangoli making competition brought out the artistic talents of the girls from various school houses, creating intricate and colorful patterns.
For the older students in classes 9th to 12th, a unique activity awaited. Boys enthusiastically participated in crafting and launching flying fire lamps, adding a touch of innovation to the festivity. These engaging festivities not only upheld tradition but also nurtured creativity and unity among students, making it a memorable Diwali celebration.

Florets International School observed Vigilance Awareness Week from
October 30, 2023 to November 5, 2023, with the theme of “Say no to
corruption, commit to the Nation”, in order to inculcate awareness on vigilance
in public life and build ethics.
With an endeavour to promote integrity, transparency and accountability
in public an “Integrity Pledge” was administered in the school for students,
teachers and other staff members. Students were encouraged to participate in
essay writing and poster making competitions with themes related to vigilance,
integrity and anti-corruption measures.
To embrace moral values and ethical conduct the school organized
debates and group discussions where students expressed their views on the
importance of vigilance and how it can make a positive impact on society. The
school also organised Slogan Writing and Elocution Competitions for
dissemination of anti-corruption messages and stressing the vision of a Vigilant
India.
Students of Class X to XII, teachers and other staff members took e-pledge
during the week, reaffirming their commitment to honesty and ethical
behaviour. Vigilance Awareness Week has left a lasting impact on the school
community reminding everyone of the importance of upholding ethical values in
their daily lives.

The assembly began with insightful speeches about the life and contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, India's first Deputy Prime Minister, who played a crucial role in integrating the nation. Following the assembly, classes 9th and 11th took part in a "Run for Unity" event, symbolizing the unity of the nation. “Unity in Diversity”is our nation’s strength. As an endeavour to solidify the bond of oneness and
unification Florets International School celebrated the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai
Patel as National Unity Day on 31 st October, 2023. Various activities were organised in the school
premises in order to extend the heartfelt regards to the the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai
Patel.
A special assembly was organised with a pledge taking ceremony that embarked the spirit of unity
among the students. Impressive speeches given by the students in English as well as in Hindi on
the life, history and the role of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, in the freedom struggle to establish a
harmonious society. The school undertook a National Unity Run in which students of class IX to XII
enthusiastically participated.

The festive spirit of Durga Puja filled the air at Florets International School on P. Road on 21st October 23. The school organized a grand celebration to commemorate the auspicious occasion, and it was a spectacle that left parents mesmerized.

The highlight of the event was the various performances by the children, who depicted scenes from Hindu mythology with sheer grace and talent. The stage was transformed into a beautiful Durga pandal, where the children enacted the story of Maa Durga's triumph over evil. The precision and attention to detail in their performance was commendable.

Another captivating performance was the enactment of the Ram Darbar. The students mesmerized the audience with their portrayal of Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, and Hanuman. They brought the story of Ramayana to life through their graceful dance moves and expressive performances.

The significance of Ram Setu, a bridge built by Lord Ram and his army to rescue Sita, was also showcased. The children depicted the historical event with great enthusiasm and showcased their understanding of the epic tale.

The event also included a mesmerizing dance performance on Shiv Tandav, showcasing the power and strength of Lord Shiva. The students beautifully portrayed the intense and energetic dance form, leaving the audience in awe.

The love between Shiva and Parvati was beautifully portrayed by the children, as they gracefully danced to depict the divine couple's eternal bond.

The performance of Lord Ganesha with Riddhi and Siddhi was another highlight of the celebration. The students created a vibrant atmosphere with their energetic Dandia dance, showcasing their talent and dedication.

The parents were in awe of their children's performances and couldn't help but feel proud of their little stars. The effort put in by the students and their teachers was evident in the flawless ex*****on of every act.

Overall, the Durga Puja celebration at Florets International School was a grand success. The performances by the children were a true reflection of their dedication, talent, and the values they have imbibed. The event left everyone feeling blessed and filled with joy, marking the perfect start to the festive season.

We are delighted to announce the remarkable achievement of Anant Singh, a student of Class 10 A at Florets International School, who has secured the first position for his outstanding performance in the event "ON RIFF's CLIFF" – an audio composition competition at Confest - 23, a prestigious Inter-School Competition held in Seth Anandram Jaipuria School Kanpur . Anant's accomplishment is particularly noteworthy as he created an original audio composition by adding self-generated tunes, showcasing his exceptional talent and creativity.

Regular physical activity is one of the most important things we can do for our health. Being physically active can improve our brain health, help manage weight, reduce the risk of disease, strengthen bones and muscles, and improve our ability to do everyday activities.

Special assembly on “The importance of paper bags” was conducted in school on 14th July 2023. Children were taught use of paper bags, which are easily recyclable, will help reduce plastic waste that takes years to decompose, causing environment pollution.

Flowers are also the best friend of your garden and our environment. Many of us may be guilty of not planting enough flowers. But now is the time to change this as flowers do much more than being beautiful.
