The day is a tribute to Sir C V Raman who got the first Nobel Prize for India in the field of science for his discovery of the famous phenomenon of change in the wavelength of light scattered by a medium. The phenomenon is known as THE RAMAN EFFECT.
The day is a day of national pride for all of us. We in Calibre Classes salute the legacy of this great Indian.
